Next week's monthly membership meeting will be held at the Charleston. The meeting agenda includes:

  • Featured Speakers: Officers from MPD will attend to discuss neighborhood safety
  • Neighborhood Updates: Including updates on Connecticut Avenue project and Liquor Licenses
  • Post Meeting: Refreshments and time to meet & mingle with neighbors


Members should bring a friend - our in-person meetings are open to all, but we encourage you to become a member.

DC residents who own a 2011-2021 Kia or Hyundai vehicle are eligible to receive a free steering wheel lock from a Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) District station starting today, Friday, February 24.

A social media trend of how to steal the cars, which was made public during the summer of 2022, directly increased the number of motor vehicle thefts nationwide involving Hyundai and Kia vehicles.

Ward 2 Gun Violence Roundtable with Pinto

Ward 2 Councilmember Brooke Pinto announced an emergency three-day public roundtable on gun violence on March 3rd, 4th, and 6th for the community to discuss solutions and coordinate between government agencies focused on the important work of preventing and responding to this violence. The goal of this event is to hear directly from you about how gun violence is impacting your life and what you want to see implemented to address the crisis and bring our government partners and experts to the same table to focus on immediate solutions.

DC Independent Film Forum

The 24th annual DC Independent Forum will welcome over 70 filmmakers. Visit the website to explore the program, buy passes, purchase tickets, and visit individual film pages. There will be 9 feature films and 10 short film program blocks starting at $13 each with filmmaker Q&A’s.
