Waxing of Floors and Painting

Beginning 7/15 we will be having floors waxed. Please see the schedule below. Additionally, The Exxon team will be on site on 7/21/23 to paint the school.

Our next visit from Tripp and Fancy the mini horses is scheduled for Wed 7/19 from 1:15 -2:45!

A payroll and holiday calendar has been created for all of you to utilize! This calendar includes all of the pay dates, along with the pay periods, and Emerge holidays. You can find this calendar under the "Employee Messages" section of your personal Highflyer account. Feel free to let your team know that this is a resource they can use as well.

The Sensory Room is now open!!!

Thanks to the Junior League of Baton Rouge for the Community Assistance Fund grant, which provided us the funds to create a Sensory Room!

This dedicated therapeutic space provides sensory input to children so they can calm and regulate themselves and better prepare for learning and peer interaction.

The Sensory Room is located in observation room #11. You must use a key to enter.

Rules of the Sensory Room:

Keep door closed at all times
2 children + 2 adults max
10 minutes max
2x a day max
Child must be supervised by a licensed therapist only (OT, ST, or BCBA)
Do not allow children to touch bubble lamp
Pick up after yourselves after each visit

When to use the Sensory Room:

When a child is dysregulated and is having a hard time calming down
As a preventative approach to calm and regulate a child before a learning activity
