On Thursday, September 14th we had a wonderful event at The Baton Rouge City Club hosted by Emerge board Member Charles Blaize to support our Project Puzzle campaign. The event was a huge success! Special thanks to Emerge team member, Sydney Lombardo, and her band "2 Imports 1 Domestic" for donating their time and providing the music for the event. It was perfect!

"AGAIN"

Look for visuals around the building about how to model this Core Word with different devices and activities!

What is a core word?

Core vocabulary refers to the small number of words that make up >70-90% of what we say on a daily basis. These words are relevant across contexts and can have many meanings. Core vocabulary is powerful because it allows communicators to express a wide variety of concepts with a very small number of words.
