NAR's Fair Housing Action Plan, abbreviated 'ACT,' emphasizes (A)ccountability, (C)ulture Change, and (T)raining in order to ensure America's 1.5 million REALTORS® are doing everything possible to protect housing rights in America.
On November 18, 2020, NAR launched Fairhaven.realtor -- an innovative online simulation training, where agents work against the clock to sell homes in the fictional town of Fairhaven, while confronting discrimination in the homebuying process. During the training, learners also walk in the shoes of a homebuyer facing discrimination. The training provides customized feedback that learners can apply to daily business interactions.

REALTOR® Day at the Texas Capitol is back in-person for the first time since 2019! In 2023, more than 3,000 Texas REALTORS® are expected to meet with all 181 legislators to discuss real estate issues on REALTOR® Day.
The CCAR team will travel by charter bus on the morning of March 22 and return later that evening. We encourage our REALTOR® members to join us on the trip or meet us there! Registered attendees will receive a follow-up email in March with additional trip details. Seating is limited so reserve yours now.

The REALTOR® Emeritus application is now open. Do you or someone you know think you may qualify?
Eligibility Requirements:
- Forty (40) years of REALTOR® or REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® (or both) membership.
- Proof of one (1) year of service, defined as serving as an NAR officer, director, committee member, Federal Political Coordinator, Global Ambassador, or Global Coordinator to a country with which NAR holds a reciprocal agreement, at the National Association level.
Applications can be found online and can only be submitted by CCAR on your behalf. The application deadline is April 2, 2023.
