Monday Memo of the Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce

Each calendar has two numbers on it between 000-999. Every Wednesday at 10 am the Texas Lottery Pick 3 Numbers will be used to determine the winner of the prize. This ensures that there will only be one winner per week. If for any reason the Texas Lottery Pick 3 ends, the numbers will be drawn at random on the same calendar dates. According to Texas Lotto Pick 3, reselection of your numbers is possible.

The drawing will start the first Wednesday in January. The Chamber is the winner if any of the unsold calendar numbers are selected.

All winners of firearms must complete the ATF Form 4473 and pass the NICS background check. If the winner fails the NICS background check they will forfeit the prize awarded. Winners assume all responsibility of the firearm once they have passed the NICS background check.

All firearms will be distributed in compliance with all federal, state and local laws at the following location: Rockport Pawn, Rockport, TX 78382

Winter Texans are a vital component to Rockport-Fulton's Economy. Community organizers can't imagine what the months of January, February and March would be like in Aransas County without the Winter Texans.

To show appreciation, all Winter Texans are invited to the 5th annual Winter Texan Appreciation Day 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, January 19 at the Fulton Convention Center on Fulton Harbor in Fulton, Texas.

Winter Texan Day will be a fun-filled day with live music, bunco, bingo, games, karaoke, food, information booths and presentations, raffles and so much more! The Rockport-Fulton area depends on Winter Texans to boost its economy during the first quarter of the year. There are approximately 5,000 Winter Texans. They impact the Rockport-Fulton economy by their purchasing of food, gas, supplies, etc. and through their countless hours of volunteerism.

The day is set aside to provide our member businesses as well as our Elected Officials the opportunity to see to go together to see the Legislature in action. Along with providing support, the Chamber focuses on the legislative priorities that will assist in strengthening the business economy.
