CULTIVATED: TOOLS FOR GROWTH

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first Cultivated event! We were excited to hear from Chamber members Sam of Gough Legal Group and Rachel with Eccezion, along with guest speaker Mary with Maguire Marketing.

Together, they shared valuable insight on brand consistency and the important role it plays in your business marketing, messaging, and overall presence.

Our next Cultivated event will take place on July 30th from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM at McHenry Township. This session will feature Chamber members Bobbi of Think Big Go Local, Kelsey of K-Adams Foto, and guest speaker Jessica of Tails & Emails.

They’ll be discussing the content and messaging your business is putting out into the world, why it matters, how it impacts visibility, and how strong, intentional messaging helps connect your audience back to your brand.

WHAT: Get ready to ride, explore, and make a difference! Pedalpalooza is McHenry County's most fun-filled fundraising bike ride, and this year's event is better than ever. Join us on Saturday, May 30, 2026 for a one-of-a-kind scavenger hunt adventure through the beautiful trails and neighborhoods of McHenry County — all in support of neighbors who need it most.

Every dollar raised through Pedalpalooza stays right here at FHPC and goes directly toward keeping our uninsured neighbors healthy!

Here's the best part — Pedalpalooza is for EVERYONE. Bike it, walk it, or drive it — participation is fully inclusive and completely open to all ages and ability levels. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or someone who just loves a good community outing, there is a place for you at Pedalpalooza. Check out the video above for some highlights from last year!

Using a scavenger hunt app on their phone (Goosechase), participants will tackle fun missions, visit local businesses, and discover the hidden gems of McHenry County — all while raising critical funds for their uninsured neighbors. It's part adventure, part community celebration, and 100% for a great cause. There is no start or finish line because everyone wins in Pedalpalooza!
