The McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce's Annual Gala is January 24, 2026. This year’s theme is “Curated: A Night at the Museum”.
We are asking for your help in providing the items for our silent auction. We have multiple options:
1) Sponsor a package – We will purchase and put together the items for you in an attractive display based on the dollar amount you donate (These packages start at $100. If you are interested, please contact me for a list of options.)
2) Create your own basket
3) Donate an experience (sporting events, theater tickets, getaways, etc.)
Any amount is welcomed; however, items or donation amounts less than $100 may be partnered with another business’s donation. Your generous donation will be attractively packaged and displayed along with recognition at our event.

Help our food pantries meet the growing demand for food assistance
WHAT: While hunger is a year-round problem that never takes a break, the demand on our food pantries increases significantly during the holiday season - and more so now because of the suspension of SNAP benefits with the ongoing government shutdown.
Our area food pantries need help keeping their shelves stocked to ensure that nobody, and no family, goes hungry.
Please consider donating needed food items, or money with which local pantries and the Northern Illinois Food Bank can purchase food. You can find a complete list of county pantries on the Food Security and Nutrition page of the McHenry County Department of Health website.
FOR MORE INFORMATION: If you know people who want to help, or are themselves facing food insecurity, please forward them this communication.
