Goodwill Industries of Northern Illinois (McHenry Store) has a free GED prep program!

WHAT: Goodwill McHenry offers free GED preparation for individuals aged 17 and older in our Community Resource Room. Through the GoodGRADS program, participants benefit from:

• Small class sizes available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (morning or afternoon sessions)
• Scholarship for practice and official testing.
• Case Management services and transportation assistance, as needed.

Registration is open year-round and ongoing. A staff member will follow up to discuss program details.

Limited Openings Remain for Simulator Golf League at Lucky Lulu’s

WHAT: Golfers still have a chance to tee up and join the action at LiberTee Indoor Golf at Lucky Lulu’s. A limited number of openings remain in the current simulator golf league, with space available for two teams (four players total). Interested players are encouraged to sign up soon before spots fill.

The simulator golf league offers a fun, competitive, and social way to play—perfect for golfers looking to stay sharp, connect with others, and enjoy cutting-edge indoor golf technology in a relaxed setting.

Not interested in joining a league? Open play is also available. Golfers can book simulator time for casual rounds, practice sessions, or group outings. Tee times are subject to availability, and reservations are recommended.

Our Festival of Trees ended 3 week ago and we are excited to share that we collected over $9K worth of food and non-perishables to donate to Veterans Path to Hope.
