FROM THE ARCHITECTURE AND LANDSCAPE COMMITTEE:

  • The ALC is short-staffed. Please plan and submit your ALC permit application at least 2 weeks before you need it. Given all required information is provided on the application, the ALC’s turn-around time on permits may be extended to 7 to 10 business day.

  • Those Annoying Weeds!  The monsoon rains are happening … resulting in annoying weeds. Even with the meager amount of rain received so far, weeds are popping up and the ALC is receiving weed complaints. Please use weed killer on those that have popped up and use weed pre-emergent control for those future weeds. Plan to have some-one take care of weeds in your yard while you are on vacation.

RENTER POLICY Homeowners, please ensure your Rental Policy Agreement is on file at the front desk before your renters check-in. New and returning renters must make an appointment before the check-in date at 520-818-1000, #4. Click here for Rental Policy Agreement

MORE FROM PATROL

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)

Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining"!

TROON ADVANTAGE IS HERE!! Annual Passholders now can enjoy preferred rates and access to amenities at over 150 resort and daily fee facilities worldwide through the Troon Advantage Program. This program allows each Annual Passholder and up to three guests to take advantage of these extraordinary benefits. To avail yourself of the Troon Advantage rates, simply request a tee time through the online portal, which offers bookings up to (60) days in advance, subject to availability. For more information on how to take advantage of these great deals, click HERE.

MOUNTAINVIEW BACK NINE OPENS SOON – TEE TIME REQUESTS The renovation at MountainView is moving along and the back nine will be open beginning Oct. 9, 2023. Since we only have nine holes open, we will need to share some information with you about requesting tee times in ForeTees.

1.    All requests for tee times at MountainView for Oct. 9 moving forward will be considered 9-HOLE TEE TIME REQUESTS.

2.   If your group would like to play the back nine twice to make an 18-hole round, you MUST put this in the notes of your tee time request.

3.   In order to make sure everyone has an opportunity to play MountainView, we will run the lottery first, then place groups on the tee sheet for a second tee time ONLY if there is a note in the request for the original tee time.

4.   Once the lottery is complete and the second tee times are assigned for groups that make notes, the remaining tee times on the sheet are open for any resident who would like to book one.

5.   Residents will be able to enter tee time requests beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.

PACE OF PLAY TIPS DEVELOP AN EYE FOR DISTANCE. You don’t have to step off yardage for every shot. If you need to determine precise distance, try to find a yardage marker before you reach your ball, then step off the yardage on the way to your ball. Or, consider investing in an electronic range-finder or GPS for golf. If other you are playing with are not familiar with the course, the Rules of Golf permit players to exchange yardage information without penalty.
