Please consider Board service; it is one of the best ways to serve our wonderful community. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION, Please put these dates on your calendar, look for the “Call for Candidates” in mid-September, and again, seriously consider Board service.

FROM THE ARCHITECTURE AND LANDSCAPE COMMITTEE:

  • The ALC is short-staffed. Please plan and submit your ALC permit application at least 2 weeks before you need it. Given all required information is provided on the application, the ALC’s turn-around time on permits may be extended to 7 to 10 business days.

  • Volunteers Needed! The Architecture and Landscape Committee (ALC) is in need of volunteers. If you want to meet new people, help your neighbors, and preserve the Sonoran Desert character of our community - consider volunteering for the ALC.

  • Those Annoying Weeds!  The monsoon rains are happening … resulting in annoying weeds. Even with the meager amount of rain received so far, weeds are popping up and the ALC is receiving weed complaints. Please use weed killer on those that have popped up and use weed pre-emergent control for those future weeds. Plan to have someone take care of weeds in your yard while you are on vacation.

RENTER POLICY Homeowners, please ensure your Rental Policy Agreement is on file at the front desk before your renters check-in. New and returning renters must make an appointment before the check-in date at 520-818-1000, #4. Click here for Rental Policy Agreement

SB2 PATROL UPDATES

SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING: If you see suspicious activity please contact the Patrol Duty Truck at (520) 349-5124.

(Save our number in your cell phone for easy access).

PATROL TIP OF THE Emergency Contacts – Patrol encourages you to make sure you have informed us of family or friends that should be notified in case of an emergency. Follow this link to update your emergency contacts.

NOW HIRING – are you interested in helping to keep your neighbors and community safe? Our facilities secure? Assisting people in need? A part-time gig with SaddleBrooke TWO Patrol may be a good fit for you! Daytime shifts are coming available for friendly, professional and neighborly people to serve our beautiful community. Find out more online CLICK HERE

SHARING THE ROAD – please be reminded that the ”rules of the road” (actually state laws and ordinances) apply to ALL VEHICLES, including cars, golf carts and bicycles that are required to stop at stop signs, obey speed limits and give pedestrians the right of way. Injury accidents and near-misses occur far too many times every day in our community. Please, please, PLEASE follow the law, be courteous and avoid citations from Patrol!

FREE SaddleBrooke Senior Safety Series. The next seminar will be Thursday, 10/5, 2-4pm at DVPAC on Home Fire Safety and First Aid presented by Golder Ranch Fire Department. Upcoming seminars will be presented on 11/2 (Driving and Traffic Safety) and 12/7 (Home Tech to Keep You Safe ) at 2-4pm at DVPAC

HYDRATION – as the days start getting warmer, Patrol reminds and encourages you to STAY HYDRATED. As you get older, it’s even more important to stay hydrated. A study from the UCLA School of Nursing found that up to 40% of elderly people may be chronically under-hydrated. Appetite and thirst tend to diminish with age, and seniors are more likely to take medications that increase dehydration risk. “Drink 8 glasses a day” is what the National Council on Aging recommends.
