Chapters 1 and 2 of the 2015 Michigan Residential Code are now open to correct conflicts and inconsistencies between these chapters, the Stille-DeRossett-Hale Single State Construction Code Act, 1972 PA 230, and the Skilled Trades Regulation Act, 2016 PA 407, as a result of a request to amend these chapters, and the Bureau of Construction Codes (BCC) is seeking your input.

at to review the current ruleset and utilize the proposed rule change request form for submitting proposals. Please submit proposals for this ruleset to matsumotos@michigan.gov by 5:00 PM on Monday, November 19, 2018. Please check back to the BCC website for status updates on this ruleset progression.

(FODR), a non-profit 501(c)(3), will spearhead the Belle Isle Boathouse Assessment and Master Planning process in partnership with local organizations including the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. When completed the master plan will be used as the guiding document to pursue funding for the implementation of a phased development for improvements. An RFQ process will be utilized to identify firms that are interested and qualified to assist FODR with the building assessment and Master Plan Project.
