Do you use storytelling effectively?

Good design begins with a great narrative. Storytelling communicates in a way that is memorable and engaging. Beyond features, attributes, and data arguments, storytelling is the first prototype used to clarify purpose.
  • Storyboarding offers efficient communication in any design discipline.
  • Encourages early developmental discussions focusing on stakeholders and value proposition.
We will discuss storyboarding’s effectiveness in communicating meaning and consumer insight. You will learn about structural elements in order to explore techniques, generate a narrative, and capture a scene in a visual storyboard.

EQxD2022 - The JE:DI Agenda in Action Series
The JE:DI. Agenda in Action with an augmented series of panels and workshops that will build on the outcomes of last year’s critical discourse and frameworks. We will begin with a summary of what we learned in 2020 and build upon it with today’s evolving challenges with an overview of JE:DI frameworks for solving these challenges proposed to date across multiple organizations. APAC - Architects Political Actions Committee

Everyone can make a difference!
APAC gives Michigan Architects a powerful bipartisan voice in Lansing. Your APAC dollars help ensure that the voice of our profession is heard by your state legislators.

Goal:
Each AIA Michigan Member to contribute to MI APAC. Realistic? Maybe not, but if we could get each member to contribute a minimum of $5.00 (the price of one latte or frappuccino at Starbucks), that would provide over $9,000.00 in APAC funds that could be used to support our legislative issues and politicians who support architects and architecture.

Why is this important?

*Small contributions by each member can make a large impact and ensure we have a voice in Lansing and a profession in years to come.

*Ensure the practice of architecture remains relevant in a time when there appears to be multiple forces continuously working to diminish our impact on the built environment.
