There is a good lineup in the education department, but we wanted to bring attention to these upcoming, infrequently offered classes!

Happy New Year! With 2020 now a memory, OKCMAR is already relaunching efforts to get each member to become a RPAC investor. 2021 RPAC Chair JT Brown explains, "Unfortunately in politics, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. To make sure the issues that are important to our industry are also important to our elected officials, we must have a large well-funded presence in the political arena."
He added,
"That is why we have RPAC and ask each member to give at least $20 a year as their fair share investment supporting efforts to represent the profession and the industry."
Thanks to REALTORS® across the country, RPAC is considered one of the most powerful Political Action Committees in the country. Since its inception over 50 years ago, RPAC has worked to ensure that the real estate profession speaks with one voice. REALTORS® RPAC investments are the only investments dedicated to furthering the interest of real estate professionals in our nation's capital, state legislatures and city halls.
OKCMAR's goal this year is to educate the membership about RPAC and why they should be an investor. Some of our members have shared their personal stories about RPAC; and in the coming days and months, we will feature this content in newsletters and social media. We will also continue to sponsor events supporting RPAC, like our virtual Mixology Happy Hour on January 28th!
