RPAC Summer Roundup Is Here!
After a successful spring RPAC campaign, OKCMAR is kicking off the next phase of RPAC Roundup. OKCMAR Government Affairs Director Gary Jones said, “After having to step back RPAC efforts in 2020, the RPAC Roundup campaign was the strategy created to help OKCMAR achieve an RPAC banner year in 2021. Good news, it is working!”
Already, OKCMAR is hitting new RPAC records and on track to add more. For 2021, OKCMAR has surpassed the participation goal of 40% of the membership investing in RPAC. OKCMAR only needs 40 more investors to surpass 50%! Just five years ago, only 20% of the membership invested in RPAC.
With the additional money raised, the OKCMAR Government Affairs Committee has been active this year in supporting candidates running for local office across the Oklahoma City metroplex. “We hope to continue to do even more,” stated OKCMAR Government Affairs Chair Glen Cosper. “With the additional funds raised through RPAC, we are able to support elected officials that champion issues important to the profession and the industry.”

RPAC Summer Roundup Activities
June 22: RPAC emails will be sent to every OKCMAR member who has not invested in 2021
July – August: Office visits will be scheduled in as many offices as possible to present and answer questions about RPAC. Contact Gary Jones at gjones@okcmar.org to schedule a visit.
July 29: RPAC Major Investor Reception from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at McClintock’s in the Stockyards. Save the date and watch for more details!
