New Fiber Laser Takes Cutting Power to the Next Level ⚙️ | |
Ensuring access to the latest technology is a hallmark of what the Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center (MAMC) does. With more than $22 million – and growing – in leading-edge equipment, MAMC provides entrepreneurs and manufacturers unparalleled access to state-of-the-art technology that enables them to manufacture more efficiently, precisely, safely and quickly.
The latest addition to MAMC’s trove of technology is the first fiber laser of its kind in central Appalachia: a 3,000-watt Amada Brevis 1212 AJ, which replaces the most heavily used piece of equipment in the Huntington advanced manufacturing center: an Amada CO2 laser. Fiber laser technology elevates cutting power to a whole new level.
