Become a Marshall University Vendor 🤝

The Marshall University Board of Governors and the Marshall University Office of Purchasing invite your firm to complete the newly designed Marshall University Vendor Registration Form. We created this form to improve the efficiency of how we interact with our vendors, increase expenditures made to local businesses, and grow our regional economic impact.

Via its Small and Diverse Business Program, Marshall wants to increase purchases made from small and diverse firms (women-owned, minority-owned, disabled-owned, and veteran-owned). This form allows you to certify status, including whether your firm is a small, for-profit business based on U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) standards. (*All non-agricultural firms with less than 100 employees AND less than $8 million in revenue meet this standard.)

Purchases from for-profit businesses provide what Marshall University needs to operate. Our largest expenditures are for Building and Grounds Maintenance, Software/IT/Telecom, Business Services, Medical Services, and Laboratory Services.

Please complete the form even if you are already a Marshall vendor, as your information will be used to inform you about future bidding opportunities that match the goods and services you provide. This aspect of the program will kick off in 2024.

This is a pilot program mandated by the West Virginia Legislature. Use of this registration/certification form will be required for all MU vendors following this test period.

Please help us grow Marshall’s use of local businesses by completing this form and becoming certified to respond to bid requests for goods and services. Your feedback is welcome.
