Leadership Huntington is a program offered through the Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce that is designed to connect, develop, empower, and mobilize current and emerging leaders who are committed to making a difference in the Huntington region. The program is open to all individuals who live or work in Cabell or Wayne counties.
The program aims to bring together leaders from diverse industries and backgrounds to foster collaboration, promote community involvement, and develop a network of informed and engaged leaders. The curriculum is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the region's economic, social, and political landscape, while equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to tackle complex business challenges.
This is a 10-month program starting in September and ending in June. Participants meet once a month for a full day excluding a two-day orientation. Each session is organized around a theme and will be explored through speakers, discussions, field trips, and exclusive experiential activities.

CWAB® Services Division is seeking business sponsorships for their 7th Annual Sweets for Sight Event! This year’s event will be bigger and better than ever. In addition to the online Auctions, that start August 25th-29th, we will have an in-person VIP Event held on the evening of August 29th, 2025 at the Marshall Health Network Convention Center. Sponsors will be able to set up a table at the event to showcase their business. This is our largest fundraiser event that helps us to continue offering free services to our consumers. Services include but not limited to transportation, white cane training, CCTVS, Magnification, eyeglasses, exams, recreation, support groups, shopping assistance and much more. We are currently seeking business sponsorships for monetary donations and donations to create our silent auction packages. | | Retirement Literacy Seminar | | In collaboration with Marshall Online and the Big Green Scholarship Foundation, the Marshall University Alumni Association is offering a Retirement Literacy Seminar hosted by Tyler Hutchison with The Hutchison Group. The seminar will be hosted in two sessions from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, and Wednesday, May 21, 2025. The seminar offers comprehensive retirement planning, with emphasis on the cost of retirement, managing tax liability, protecting wealth and assets, and more. The seminar is applicable for individuals and couples of all ages, with special focus on those reaching retirement in the next five years or have already reached retirement and are seeking additional guidance.
