It’s Not Too Late to Join the Candy Cane Trail — Sweet Rewards Await!

RenewAll Seeking Local Artists for Central City Quilt Trail

RenewAll is sponsoring the reinstallation of the Central City Quilt Trail as part of the America 250 Celebration in Cabell County, in partnership with Cabell County Commission, Coalfield Development, and the Old Central City Association. 


Quilts are art, history, and symbols of community, woven together like threads of hope, needs, and challenges that form a collaborative whole. The upcoming reimagined trail will feature 8-10 murals that blend quilting heritage with contemporary artist interpretations. 

We're looking for artists living near Huntington; prior experience is not required. We will provide training and installation support.

DTC Presents: 25th Annual Valentine Celebration

Spread Holiday Joy: Donate to the Toys for Tots Toy Drive

The Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce is proud to serve as an official Toys for Tots drop-off location this holiday season.


Community members are invited to bring new, unwrapped toys to our office in the River Tower at 1108 Third Ave., Suite 300, Huntington, WV 25701.


The Huntington Area CVB, located at 210 11th St, Huntington, WV 25701, will also be accepting toys through Dec. 15.


Together, let’s help spread joy and make the season brighter for children in our region. 🎁✨

Holiday Open House Set for Dec. 7, 2025, at Huntington Museum of Art

The Huntington Museum of Art will present Holiday Open House on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free, but visitors may bring nonperishable food for Facing Hunger Foodbank and warm clothes for Cridlin Clothing & Food Pantry.


Holiday Open House at HMA will feature musical performances; a visit with Santa; shopping in the Museum Store; an art activity in the Education Gallery; and light refreshments.

 

Also, the exhibit of artist-decorated trees titled “Art on a Limb” will be on view at HMA during Holiday Open House. “Art on a Limb” goes on view at HMA on Nov. 25, 2025, and continues through Jan. 4, 2026. This project is supported with financial assistance from the West Virginia Department of Tourism and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval of the West Virginia Commission on the Arts. This exhibit is presented with support from The Isabelle Gwynn and Robert Daine Exhibition Endowment.


Musical performances will feature Cabell Midland Collegium Musicum at 1:30 p.m. roving throughout the Museum and Mustang Harmony from Martha Elementary at 2:30 p.m. in HMA’s Grace Rardin Doherty Auditorium.


“Huntington Museum of Art staff members and volunteers enjoy seeing community members appreciate the artist-decorated trees and festive atmosphere at Holiday Open House,” said Cindy Dearborn, HMA’s Director of Education.

Old Crow Medicine Show Holiday Hootenanny to Hit the Joan C. Edwards Playhouse Stage

Step into a high-energy, toe-tapping celebration of the season at the Old Crow Medicine Show Holiday Hootenanny — a one-of-a-kind holiday spectacular from one of America’s most iconic string bands.


With their trademark blend of old-time melodies, barn-burning bluegrass and rowdy storytelling, Old Crow Medicine Show turns Christmas cheer into a full-blown musical adventure.
