The Huntington Museum of Art will offer a scavenger-hunt style game on Feb. 25, 2025, at 6 p.m. as part of the 4th Tuesday Tour Series. Light refreshments will be served. Admission is free.
“The Education Department at HMA invites people who enjoy interactive games to take part in a scavenger-hunt style event in which visitors are given clues and then search the permanent galleries and C. Fred Edwards Conservatory for the answers,” said HMA Director of Education Cindy Dearborn. “Families often compete together in this event. One of the participants who successfully completes the scavenger hunt will take home a gift certificate donated by the Museum Store.”
The 4th Tuesday Tour Series at HMA offers a guided tour, a special speaker or other event on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
HMA offers free general admission on Tuesdays when hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Free Tuesdays at HMA are generously presented by the City of Huntington Mayor’s Council for the Arts.

Marshall University to Host 7th Annual TEDxMarshallU | |
|
Please join Marshall University for the 7th annual TEDxMarshallU event “Beyond Borders” at the Joan C. Edwards Playhouse at Marshall University on Saturday March 8 from 7 to 9 PM. Tickets are currently available at www.tedxmarshallu.com. General admission is $20 and students are $5 (no children under 8 admitted). Seats are limited and we encourage you to purchase tickets before the event, but some tickets may be available at the door the night of the event.
We are seemingly separated by many borders between places, people, and ideas. These physical and invisible borders take many shapes and forms, but what happens when we think outside the boxes to which we’re confined? When we look beyond our borders, we uncover limitless possibilities that can introduce us to a new world of diverse outlooks and innovative mindsets. We may even come to understand the reasons why some borders are necessary. Join us as our eight TEDxMarshallU speakers challenge our ideas about the world and help us explore how going “Beyond Borders” can inform, shape, and redefine our human experience.
If you would like a promotional poster to put up in your business or have any questions about TEDxMarshallU or the event, please contact Organizer Brian Kinghorn at kinghorn@marshall.edu or Event Manager Maggie Piaskowski at piaskowski7@marshall.edu.
