Celebrating 30 Years of Imagination Library! 

Since 1995, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library delivers a free high-quality home library to children from birth to age five. West Virginia boasts statewide availability of the DPIL early literacy program and continues to grow!


In 2025, we are focusing on expanding service throughout underserved communities, developing our foster care partnerships, and working with the USPS to redistribute returned and undelivered books to children in hospitals, pediatric clinics, and language learning centers.

Walk-In Wednesday!

Meet with hospital recruiters, take part in same-day interviews with managers, and learn about job opportunities and benefits of working for MHN. Below are the dates and times for the following locations:

  • Cabell Huntington Hospital: First Wednesday of each month from 10 am – 2 pm at the MUSOM Atrium (CHH campus)
  • St. Mary’s Medical Center: Every Wednesday from 9 am – 2 pm at the HR office (4 West; SMMC campus)
  • HIMG: Every Wednesday from 9 am – 2 pm at the HIMG front desk

Luke Bryan Coming to Charleston

Country music superstar Luke Bryan will kick off a brand-new 30+ city tour this summer, the “Country Song Came On Tour.” The five-time Entertainer of The Year who has played for nearly 15 million fans during his career will launch the tour on May 29 and will make a stop at the Charleston Coliseum on August 14.

All Huntington Regional Chamber members are welcome to submit events and news to the MMM for free. All content is to be submitted by 4 p.m. each Thursday for inclusion the following week. Submitted items will only appear one time in the Memo unless discussed and agreed upon with Chamber staff. When submitting, please include "Memo" in the subject line of the email, attach one photo or graphic that is no more than 5 MB, and include text/press release and any links.
