NJSA ANNUAL EDUCATION & TRAINING CONFERECE - A GREAT SUCCESS!

Over 100 staffing professionals plus industry partners attended the November 1st Annual Education & Training Conference held at The Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset, NJ.  Keynote and workshop presenters Barbara Bruno and Greg Doersching informed and inspired attendees on staffing sales and recruiter topics.  Bob Rizza of Express Employment also led two workshops that focused on best practices for sales and recruiting success. A first-ever technology panel of industry partners Joe Wertz (Avionte), Brian MulĂ© (Careerbuilder), Kim Alvarez (NJ Advance Media) and Glenn Eckard (People 2.0) provided updates on new and emerging technologies for staffing firms.  Barbara Bruno moderated a panel of owners and sales professionals including Mike Menzer (Rotator Staffing), Anthony Curlo (DaVinci Tek) and Bob Lanza (Talon) who presented their tips on increasing client sales.  And Bob Rizza moderated a panel of recruiters who gave their tips and techniques for finding the best candidates for their job placements.

EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR ANNOUNCED
 
The 2017 NJSA Staffing Employee of the Year is Aaron Wnorowski of System One. Aaron started with System One in 2015 and she has quickly become a supervisor of 15-35 temps in nighttime work. According to her supervisor, Paula Reimers, Aaron works hard at all she does and is always willing to work past 11 pm with a smile on her face and commitment to her work.  Congratulations to Aaron.

The Employee of the Year Runner-Up also comes from System One. Teria Armstead is a professional temporary employee. She enjoys each new assignment and challenge and tackles them with enthusiasm and joy.  System One clients specifically ask for Teria by name and she epitomizes the employee who provides the very best impression as she greets new people at her front desk positions. Congratulations to Teria.



NJSA GOLF OUTING
 
The NJSA April Golf Outing was rescheduled to October 31 and held at Quail Brook Golf Course.  The team from Rotator Staffing ( Mike Menzer, Jourdan Block, Brad Block and Tom Reinhard) retained the golf trophy for a second time.
