EEHOA ANNUAL BUSINESS
Vote For Board of Directors Candidates by January 13
There are three open seats on the EE Board of Directors, each for a three-year term.  All EE households should have received a ballot with the candidates listed, delivered  with the annual meeting announcement. The candidates' bio's can be accessed online at this link:

Please place your ballot in the envelope marked BALLOT, seal the envelope, and write the signature of the voter on the back of the ballot envelope. You can mail it to Box 181 or drop it to the box located behind the counter at the Ramada. 
Ballots must be received no later than January 13, 2020.  Ballots will not be accepted at the meeting.  Please call Ken Lindeman , 970-577-3395, with questions.
EEHOA Dues 
Just a reminder, after January 15 unpaid EEHOA dues will incur a late fee of $35. Please call  Dean Lockwood  at 612-240-0945 with questions.
EEHOA Annual Meeting  January 20
The  EEHOA Annual Meeting will be on  Monday, January 20, 2020, at the  Community Performance & Art Center (CPAC), 1250 W Continental Road in Green Valley.  Sign-in begins at 12:30 pm with the Call to Order at 1 pm.

 EE ACTIVITIES
Pickleball Time Change
Just want to confirm that the pickleball open play is from  9 to 11 am, every day. Please c all  Greg Gramstad with questions, 520-303-3505.
Gardeners Work Party
The Gardeners will meet this Tuesday, January 7, at 10:00 am at Portillo Bridge Park (at the NE corner of the junction of Portillo and Calma by the EE Trail) to do some clean up at the park. Please bring a rake, shovel, clippers, gloves and a bucket, if you have them.  Any ideas for future projects, share them with Rod Harp at re_gvaz@outlook.com or text him at 520.329.9103.  New members are always welcome.
Fiber Arts Group
The Fiber Arts Group will meet this Thursday, January 9, 1 pm at the Ramada.  This week the group project is stacked button flowers on stems. If you have some colorful buttons bring them, but no worries, there will be lots of buttons there. Call Bernie Olson at 920-254-9277 with questions.
"Warm Up With Chili" Dinner This Thursday  
The EE Hospitality committee is hosting a Chili dinner on Thursday, January 9th.  There will be a variety of types of chili, including some Keto friendly recipes, with an assortment of garnishes (corn chips, onions, cheese, sour cream), corn bread, and brownies for dessert. The cost of this event is $7. The complimentary bar will feature Margaritas, along with wine, beer, soda, coffee and water. Happy Hour begins at 4:30, dinner will be served at 5:00.  If it's cold we'll turn on the propane heaters to keep you toasty warm.
Please remember that absolutely no pets can be allowed at the Ramada during food events.
Book  Discussion Group Next Week, Tuesday, January 14
The Book Discussion Group will meet on January 14 (second Tuesday). 
The Group will meet at Karen O'Brien's home, 726 Emsalmo, at 1:00 pm.
The book is The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane by Lisa See.
Please RSVP to Linda Sielken, 908-240-1887 ASAP if you'll be coming.
Karen will be serving a sample of the teas mentioned in the book!
2020 Ramada Sale 
The annual Ramada Sale on March 7th is the perfect way to rid your home of unwanted items.  Starting January 15th, you can drop off donated items at the shed next to the pickleball courts any Wednesday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.  We will no longer be taking laptop computers  and printers. The following items will also not be accepted: TVs, cables, mattresses, hide-a-beds, clothing, paints or chemicals. 
If unable to donate on Wednesday from 9:00 to 11:00, call Marian Mundale at 520-625-2238 or Deborah Wright at 425-870-0247 for pick-up.
For jewelry donations, call Robin Lockwood at 612-618-5582 or Vera Gates at 415-235-8685.

Did anyone notice that last week the newsletter lady messed up on the pickleball start time?  Really sorry pickleball players!  And then, she missed the notice about last week's Happy Hour...OMG!!   This woman desperately needs a proofreader.    Is there anyone out there in the EE Universe who would be willing to help with the Monday Morning Memo?   P lease call Judy Hayes, 720-201-9260.
