Sidewalk Repair
These are pictures  of the newly repaired sidewalk on westbound Esperanza near the EE Monument. Thanks to a Pima County crew on a very hot day!

June 30 Deadline for Trimming Tall Pines
This Tuesday, June 30, is the last day to have Monstrosity Service,  520-230-7131 trim your tall palms for $70 per tree.  After that the EEHOA will have palms trimmed and homeowners will be billed for $80/tree.  It's great to get those fire hazards removed from our neighborhood.  Please  let  Cyndie Alto know, 509-881-7569, if you have questions.
Spa Light is Fixed
Kudos to Kevin Welsh, who undertook repair of the light in our spa, and improved it considerably. It now burns brightly from the onset of darkness until the hour of spa closure.  Thanks Kevin!
Paver Work at the Ramada
The gravel in the parking strip from Sunset Park to the Ramada entrance has been replaced with pavers. The gravel was irregular and a trip hazard, which is now been abated, and it looks terrific. This work cost about $2500 and was entirely paid for by our Enhancement Team at no expense to the HOA.  Our Enhancement Team continues to put our EE dollars to work!
Service for Dean Hess
A memorial service for  Dean  Hess will be held on Saturday, July 18 at 10:00 AM at the Evangelical Free Church, 1393 W Mission Twin Buttes Rd, Green Valley .  A light lunch will follow at the EE Ramada.  Social distancing will be observed in both venues.

Caring Connections is where we  share news about EE neighbors who are experiencing serious health issues, a difficult life event , or other information about the neighborhood,  so neighbors can connect and offer a hand or send a message of cheer.   I f   you know of a situation or would like to inform neighbors about your own situation, please contact Judy Hayes at 720-201-9260,, with the information and any special requests or needs.   MMM will follow up with the affected parties to obtain approval to mention it in the newsletter.

An elderly couple had dinner at another couple's house, and after eating, the wives went into the kitchen. The two gentlemen were talking, and one said "Last night we went out to a new restaurant and it was really great. I would recommend it very highly."
The other man said "What is the name of the restaurant?"
The first man thought and thought and finally said "What's the name of that flower you give to someone you love? You know, the one that's red and has thorns."
"Do you mean a rose?"
"Yes, that's the one." replied the man. He then turned towards the kitchen and yelled "Rose, what's the name of that restaurant we went to last night?"

Hospital regulations require a wheel chair for patients being discharged. However, while working as a student nurse, I found one elderly gentleman already dressed and sitting on the bed with a suitcase at his feet, who insisted he didn't need my help to leave the hospital.
After a chat about rules being rules, he reluctantly let me wheel him to the elevator.
On the way down I asked him if his wife was meeting him.
"I don't know," he said. "She's still upstairs in the bathroom changing out of her hospital gown."

2020 is gonna to be a synonym for the "rest of the time""....
"Yo, my man over there is a know....2020."
"I gained control of the car for a moment, your honor, and then things went 2020."

Noah's Ark
Shared by Donna Shay

Everything I need to know about life, I learned from Noah's Ark

One:  Don't miss the boat.
Two:  Remember that we are all in the same boat.
Three:  Plan ahead.  It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
Four:  Stay fit.  When you're 600 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
Five:  Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
Six:  Build your future on high ground.
Seven:  For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
Eight:  Speed isn't always an advantage.  The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
Nine:  When you're stressed, float a while.
Ten:  Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
Eleven:  No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting......pass this along and make someone else smile, too.
