EEHOA Annual Meeting Today 
The  EE HOA annual meeting is today,  Monday, January, 20 at 1:00 PM (check in begins at 12:30) at CPAC (Community Performance & Art Center), 1250 W Continental Rd.  Whether you are a new homeowner or have been here a while, the meetings are a good opportunity to learn what's going on in Esperanza Estates. 
Updated EE Name and Address Directory
The 2020 Esperanza Estates Name and Address Directory will be for sale for $5 at the annual HOA meeting. If you are unable to attend the meeting but want a copy, contact  Karen White  at  520-648-3993 or Cheri Day , 303-594-3314
 EE ACTIVITIES 
Gardeners Work Party
The Gardeners will meet on Tuesday, January 21, at 11:00 am in Whigham Wash (next to 179 S. Circulo Napa) to do some clean up at the park.  If time allows, we will also clean up at Wishing Well Park just down the street.  Please bring a rake, shovel, clippers, gloves and a bucket, if you have them.  Any ideas for future projects, share them with Rod Harp at re_gvaz@outlook.com or text him at 520.329.9103.  New members are always welcome. 
NEW!!  Women's Pickleball Group
The new Women's Pickleball Group will start up this Tuesday, January 21, at 2:00 pm, at the Pickleball Courts.  Play will be twice a week, every Tuesday and Wednesday, at 2 pm. All women are welcome, including those who are new and want to learn the game. Please call Patty Tracy, 520-444-4472, with questions. 
Wednesday Coffee and Donuts 
Join your friends and neighbors for complimentary coffee and donuts this week,  Wednesday, January 22, at  8:30 am, at the Ramada. This is Jim and Barbara Copeland's first time hosting. Thanks to both them and the Cookes for sponsoring.
Donations for the Ramada Sale
On Wednesdays we are collecting items for the annual Ramada Sale coming up on March 7th.  You can drop off donated items at the shed next to the Pickleball Courts any Wednesday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.   Please note that w e  are not able to take  laptop computers  and printers,  TVs, cables, mattresses, hide-a-beds, clothing, paints or chemicals.   If you are unable to donate on Wednesday from 9:00 to 11:00, please call Marian Mundale at 520-625-2238 or Deborah Wright at 425-870-0247 for pick-up.  For jewelry donations, call Robin Lockwood at 612-618-5582 or Vera Gates at 415-235-8685.
Fiber Arts Group
This Thursday, January 23, the Fiber Arts Group will have a demonstration of Silk Scarf Dyeing at 1:00 pm at the Ramada.  The scarves are beautiful (may be a future project??).  Please call Bernie Olson, 920-254-9277, if you have questions .
Chili Recipes
We have received several requests for the delicious chili recipes served at the Hospitality Chili Dinner at the Ramada on January 9.  If you donated chili and are willing to have your recipe shared, please contact Judy Hayes, 720-201-9260, or email your recipe, judy.hayes@comcast.net.

Optimist Super Bowl Sausage
The Optimist Club is having a Super Bowl Italian Sausage Sale.  10 packs of either Regular or Hot are available for $22 to the first 50 people who order thru the website:   https://sausage-102185.square.site/.   Pickup is Saturday, February 2, from 9 am to 12 pm at Woodward Construction, 620 W Ward Lane.  As always, all profits go to local youths.
Green Valley Council Board of Representatives Meeting Recap
The Green Valley Council met Thursday, January 16. To get a recap of information provided at the meeting click this link:   https://gvcouncil.org/us-census-information-provided-at-bor/.  One of the items discussed was t he 2020 Census which affects all of our quality of life.  We need to be aware of how to report accurately so that we are represented accordingly.
