EEHOA NOTES
EEHOA Board Meeting Today
The next Esperanza Estates HOA Board meeting is today,  Monday, February 17, at 1 pm, at the Ramada.  Home owners are encouraged to attend.  If you are new to the neighborhood, it's a great way to learn what's going on in EE.  Please see the agenda below.
EE Equipment Loaner Program
Esperanza Estates has various types of equipment available for homeowners to borrow....things like plastic chairs, folding tables, a ladder, moving dollys, and baby/toddler items.  You can see the complete list on the EE website under "Enhancement Loaners" at this link  http://www.esperanzaestates.net/enh-loaners.htm.   To borrow items, call Lorna Kitchak (262-994-9508) or Barb McCalpin (867-8067).
Pickleball Noise
The sound made by pickleball games tends to carry outside the court area and can be annoying to residents living nearby. We are making a serious effort to contain the noise created by our busy court and have taken steps to abate it. Sound deadening materials have been added to our court fencing as a first step and the noise situation will be monitored in the future. Our pickleball players very much want to live in harmony with our neighborhood.
Know Anyone Who Doesn't Receive the MMM Online?
We've run across some folks in EE who don't receive the MMM online.  We post the MMM at the Ramada each Monday, and leave a few paper copies there.  We'd like to know who doesn't receive the MMM and would like to.  Please email or text Judy Hayes, 720-201-9260, judy.hayes@comcast.net, and we'll see what we can do to get copies to those folks.

EE CARING CONNECTIONS
Introducing...Caring Connections
This week we are introducing a new section of our Monday Morning Memo....Caring Connections.  How many times have you discovered an EE neighbor has been hospitalized, took a bad fall, had surgery or another ailment, and you wish you had known so you could have offered a hand or sent a message of cheer?  Caring Connections is an opportunity to share that news so neighbors can connect with that person.  One important point....individual privacy is paramount.  Therefore, we will only report situations where the person involved has given approval to be mentioned in the newsletter.  Here's the plan....if you know of a situation, please email or text Judy Hayes at 720-201-9260, judy.hayes@comcast.net, with the information and any special requests or needs.  Please include the person's contact information and their approval, and we'll include it in the next week's MMM.  Thanks to Donna Shea (EE Caring Neighbor Extrodinaire) for the suggestion!

This week's Caring Connection....
  • Doris Hayes at 615 Nueva recently broke her shoulder and is currently waiting to have it set next week. She reports that she appreciates the neighborly help.
