Pickleball Lessons to Support

Purchase of Swimming Pool Lift Chair

From Sharon Falor, 928-853-3474

Our fundraising efforts for the swimming pool lift are continuing. There are more dates for pickleball lessons: March 18th, March 25th, and April 1st. These lessons are open to everyone from beginners through advanced.  Please contact Sharon to sign up for lessons. All fees for the lessons are donated to the swimming pool lift purchase.

Additionally, we have collected donations from our very generous and thoughtful residents. If you are interested in helping us reach our goal of $5,000 by April 30th, please do not hesitate to text or call and I will stop by your home.

We are excited about this chair as it will allow our residents who are recovering from a joint replacement, or who have a disability from a chronic condition or disease, or who are unable to navigate the stairs and access to our beautiful swimming pool. Enabling someone to relax and move weightlessly in the pool can relieve so much joint and back related pain. Together we can make it possible for all our residents to access the pool.

Gardeners

From Mary Harp

The Gardeners will meet at 9:30 am on Tuesday, March 19th, at the Regalo Park (corner of Regalo and Holgado). Bring tools for weeding, pruning, and clean-up. New members are always welcome to join us. Call Rod Harp at 520-329-9103 with any questions.

Book Club

From Hugh Rhine

The April EE Book Club meeting will be Thursday, April 11, 11 am, at the Ramada. Our book selection for April is West With Giraffes by Lynda Rutledge, and the discussion will be lead by Karen O'Brien. Amazon comments, "An emotional, rousing novel inspired by the incredible true story of two giraffes who made headlines and won the hearts of Depression-era America."

Craft Group

From Bernie Olson

We will be working on feathers. Call Bernie at 920-254-9277 if you have questions about a supply list.
