Please note: Due to technology changes beyond our control, if you submit something for the Monday Morning Memo, and send it to mmm@esperanzaestates.net, it will no longer reach us immediately. You can still send it to that email address, but if you need it to go out right away, please text or call Pat Zehrer or Cynthia Surprise and let us know you sent something. You can find our phone numbers in the EE Directory. We hope this situation is only temporary.

Gardeners

From: Pat Zehrer

Tuesday, March 31 at 8:00 a.m.

Location: Wishing Well Park (on corner of Napa and Nueva)

A big thank you to Sam Simonson for donating a trove of garden tools to the Gardeners. Very much appreciated!!

As many of our volunteers prepare to head back to their summer locations, we want to take the time to thank everyone who participated this season in their continued support of the EE parks!

This group from Mountain View Park this past week does not include: Kathy Stavneak (photographer) and Lori Peterson. Included: Judy Buursma, Becky Ramsey, Mary Harp, Roberta Bower, Kathy Okland, Pat and Mark Zehrer, Deb and Bob Wright.

It is always fun to hear the chatting happening- great way to meet your fellow EE neighbors.

Please consider joining us next season!

At our last Pickleball meeting, we were asked when the next beginner training will be.

The next weekly training is going to be scheduled for next fall.

You want to get started but don't know what you need?

You hear the fun at the courts, but aren't sure how to join in?

Do you need to understand the basics of the game?

If there is some interest we will offer a two hour session to get you started.

Good to Know

Wildlife Reminders

From: Jim Gardner, Recreational Facilities Director

The wildlife at EE are out in force.

A couple of reminders:

The Ramada has seen a group of javelinas with babies visiting after dark. Be aware if you are going for an evening swim.

Please put the garbage cans back behind the garbage area gate after events to prevent easy access by javelina.

The snakes are out.

If you put a Pickleball outside the court in the bushes, please use the rake or the ball stick to retrieve them.

At the Bocce courts stay aware. If you play corn hole, it is a good idea to check under the boards before you reach in.

A Gila Monster was removed by the snake patrol from a del Norte yard on Sunday 3/29. They are poisonous and bites are very painful.

Most of us are very aware of our wildlife, but guests may not be. No fear of wildlife, just be aware. They want to avoid us as well.
