Around Esperanza Estates

It's been a busy week in EE

Photos by Gloria Creagh

Every Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. everyone is welcome to play cribbage at the Ramada. If you would like to learn how to play, the group is always eager to teach new players.

A huge turnout for the Grand Opening of our bocce ball courts on Wednesday, March 11th!

A special thanks to Ken Lindeman, the Capital Project author and leader! He was able to gather a multitude of volunteers from the neighborhood, who we are grateful for! We, Esperanza Estates residents, THANK YOU ALL!!

Susan B. Anthony, a nearby Green Valley resident, sang the below words to the tune of the Star Spangled Banner.

Oh, say can you see

in the sun's blazing light

What's so proudly they built

For us all to enjoy

Day by day they labored on

And it took many hands

Till it last there it appeared

A Bocce Park from the sand!

There is seating for all

Everyone choose a ball

Bowl it, throw it, don't fail

Sight the Paline, don't hit the wall.

Oh say may Esperanza

Enjoy bocce every day

Bocce on! It's fun for all.

Thanks to you! Now let's play!
