Neighborhood News

Halloween Was a Treat!!

On Halloween, around ninety-ish Esperanza Estates' residents were treated to a scrumptious Halloween Potluck dinner, compliments of our fabulous Hospitality Committee and our many EE cooks. We had pumpkin decorating and costume contests, and something green to drink called Witches Brew! Thank you so much, Hospitality Committee and EE cooks, for giving us such a fun evening...these events mean a lot to our neighborhood!

Thanks to Gloria Creagh and John Nesavich for the pictures.

EE Arts and Crafts

From Janet Shown

The Arts and Crafts group invites you to join in a season of creativity and camaraderie. No experience or special talent needed; just enjoy the endorphins you'll get from learning and creating together!

We are lucky this year that local artist, Susanne Phillips, known as "Sucasso," who will be offering our choice of special classes in watercolor, multimedia art, sparkle transfers, artists trading cards, reverse dye, alcohol ink, neurographic and doodle art, polymer clay, and other fascinating arts.

Our first project on Tuesday, Nov. 5, is rock painting. Rocks and paints will be supplied. Wear clothes or an apron you don't mind getting paint on.

Every session will be a different project, or the completion of a project started the session before. Drop-ins and onlookers are welcome for many activities, but special projects will need RSVPs for those that want to participate. Check the Monday Morning Memo or contact Janet Shown at jansho@yahoo.com or 720-749-0273 to be included in the email group. Then, mark your calendars for:
