2025 Board Member Election
From Ken Lindeman, HOA Board Secretary
Status – One volunteer and one incumbent are set to run for three positions. Esperanza Estates Home Owners Association is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Nine volunteers are on this Board. Each year the HOA has an election for three new Board members. The term for a Board member is three years. EEHOA has 340 property owners. We need more volunteers to make this an election. Or we can vote like we do judges and leave one position blank. This community can do better than that.
My name is Ken Lindeman and I am chairing the nominating committee for the 2025 election. I would like to encourage residents to volunteer for this Board by entering their name for this upcoming election. Please contact me at 970-577-3395 or email me at eesecy@gmail.com if you would like to have your name on the ballot.

Garden Club
From Kevin Welsh, HOA Board President
Rod Harp has given notice that he is resigning from all Garden Club duties due to age, injuries, and other commitments effective March of next year. Rod and his wife, Mary, have worked tirelessly for years on our landscape with the Garden Club and they have made many wonderful improvements in the HOA. His leadership and efforts will be sorely missed.
Fortunately, the Garden Club has 6 months to transition a replacement, so Rod's knowledge is not lost. The Club always welcomes new members and hopefully someone from the Club will step forward to lead this dedicated group.

Pool Maintenance
From Jim Gardner
I am looking for a person who could be the backup for me for opening, closing and daily checking of the pool. There are times when I may not be available, and it would be good to have someone who could cover for me. I can be contacted at 952-232-7555 or email jg27057@me.com.

Community Directories
From Ken Lindeman
Just in case "snowbirds" didn't get a directory or new property owners would like a directory, I will have sixteen Green Valley Community 2024 Directories available at the Ramada this Monday. Once they are gone, they are gone as Directories will not be printed anymore.

Almost Time to Decorate Your Lamp Posts For the Holidays...
We Have New Elves!!
From Gloria Creagh
A long standing tradition in our Esperanza Estates HOA is having our street lamp posts festively decorated from Thanksgiving to New Years.
For new owners, you will need the electrical plug-in, which goes in the light bulb socket of the lamp post. This allows you to plug in your string of lights that turn on at dusk. You then can creatively decorate your light post.
If you are unable to take on this decorating task, we have volunteer Enhancement Elves to assist you. They will decorate your post for just $15.00 if you supply the decorations. If we supply the decorations, we suggest a $25.00 donation. Everything belongs to you when we take the decorations down.
ELVES: John and Gloria Creagh with assistants, Lynn Noble, Susan Southwick, and George Robson
WHEN: We begin right after Thanksgiving. The deadline for requesting this service is December 5th. To answer questions, please call Gloria Creagh at (920) 323-1646
Retirement from Elf Duty-Jackie and Gary
Esperanza Estates residents thank Jackie and Gary Rautio for their twelve years of helping residents decorate their lamp posts for the Christmas season. Jackie stated they made this decision to retire from this duty before deciding to move closer to family. Thank you both for your years of helping to brighten our neighborhood at Christmas.
