Afternoon Water Aerobics Is Back!!
From: Penny Huculak, Kay Larson, and Robin Lockwood
This wonderful activity is fun and low impact. The sessions will begin with a 20 minute warm up in the shallow end to get your heart rate up, followed by 20 minutes of stretching, core strengthening and resistance work using Aquatic Dumbbells in the deep end (or shallow end if you prefer). We will end with a 20 minute Wind Down section back in the shallow end for arm strength and muscle relaxation.
Everyone will need a set of Aquatic Dumbbells. There are a few sets available at the pool to borrow. Otherwise, you can purchase a set on Amazon. We recommend the Theraband Water Weights in a medium resistance (green label) or heavy (blue label) for more resistance. If you bring your own, please mark them with your name or initials.
Sessions will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 2:00 p.m. at the pool.

January GVC Board of Representatives was held Thursday morning.
Two items that may be of interest to EE residents:
- The recent Fraud Forum was quite successful, in fact they had to turn more than 30 people away. As a result there will be another to be held on February 12. A venue and time to be announced.
-
GVC has taken on the task of taking and collecting a petition seeking that the Arizona legislature consider passing a law making Title Fraud a felony in Arizona. Forms will be forthcoming.
