Bocce Ball Court Garden

From Dean and Robin Lockwood

We are so happy to donate this patio and picnic table to the new Bocce Ball park in honor of our parents, Sam and June Simonson and Fred and Nola Lockwood, who all loved a large gathering of friends and family! We want to thank Tom Aigner, Ken Lindeman, Luke Lindeman, and Dave Higgins who helped us create this beautiful gathering place before we leave for the season.

We welcome you all to gather for a peaceful or fun filled time with one of the best views in all of Esperanza Estates!

At this time, we are looking for pretty teacups, with or without matching saucers to help make the event extra special. If you have any you would like to donate or lend, I would be happy to stop and pick them up.

We would be glad to return them after the event if you would like them back, or we can save them for future community gatheirngs.

Thank you on behalf of the Enhancement Committee for your generosity and support.

Good to Know

Stinknet Plant

From: Pat Zehrer

Rod Harp shared this article from the Tucson paper!

While they look cute and pretty, the Stinknet is an invasive plant.

The plant spreads fast because each plant contains thousands of little seeds.

It chokes out native plants and competes with food sources as it is inedible.

If you see it in your gardens, please remove!

The Gardeners will be on the look out for in EE as we go forward.

Cribbage is Fun!

From: Gloria Creagh

With these groups we had several skunks, pegging for over an hour, a few nibs and nobs, all had cribs, but this group doesn't practice muggins.

Come join the fun every Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Ramada with our host, Hugh Rhine.

We are all more than happy to teach the game of cribbage!!
