Directors Election
From Ken Lindeman, HOA Secretary
It's time to dust off your computer and dig back through your emails to last Monday when you received an email from Esperanza Estates Homeowners Association - Vote Now.
We have five volunteers running for three positions in our Director election. They deserve three minutes of your time to show them you are interested in how our HOA is managed. 30% or 110 property owners had voted as of 12/19/2024. That leaves 240 left to vote. That's a big number. Please take the time to open this email and vote. We need you to try, because we will be having another vote coming up this Spring where we will need full participation.
Should you have questions on how to make this happen, I am always available at eesecy@gmail.com to provide assistance.
A sincere Thank You. Your Secretary, Ken Lindeman.

Titan has had several customers with questions regarding cards/gifts for their crew. They recommend to label your card/gift as “GV crew.”
*Please note that Christmas trees are not accepted for pick-up.

Green Valley Council Report
From Hugh Rhine, EE Representative
A few key takeaways from the December GVC meeting:
- Supervisor Christy reported that The Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions has established the Resiliency and Mitigation Council. This Council will focus on Homeowners Insurance availability and affordability, which has become an issue especially in wildfire prone areas. Of all AZ counties only Pima county has a member on this Council. Carmine DeBonis Jr., Deputy Pima County Administrator, has been appointed to the council.
- Since Suntran Shuttle ridership between GV and Tucson is trending up, Supervisor Christy will be proposing an increase in these services.
-
Supervisor Christy read a proclamation honoring the services of Tom Berezny Gyears service in the SAV. The new SAV Commander will be Deanna Lindeman who has been the training manager and instructor.
- Freeport McMoran representative presented SAV a check for $68,000 that is to be used for the vehicle fleet of the SAV.
- Cari Olvera, the Chief Nursing Officer of Northwest Hospital, introduced the new General Surgeon, Alharith Aljanabi, MD.

With everyone bringing a dish, there is a smorgasbord of delights certain to put you in the Christmas spirit. Don’t spend the day alone! Come join your neighbors and friends at the Ramada.
Get in touch with Connie or Lynn. We will ask you to bring an appetizer, maindish, vegetable/salad, or dessert. Please RSVP by 12/23/2024 so we have an idea of how many tables need to be set up.
