Dogs Must Be On Leash

From Kevin Welsh, EE HOA President

Friendly reminder. Dogs must be kept on a leash when outside the patio walls. This is a requirement of the HOA as well as Pima County. If you observe a dog off-leash being aggressive, call 911 and take a picture if possible. If the dog is not aggressive, take a photo of the person and the dog and report it to Pima County Animal Control at 520-724-5900. If you recognize the person as a EE homeowner, forward that info and the photo to the HOA.

Pavers Project

Thanks to Dave and Linda Sielken for the donation of used pavers in support of our Paver Project. If you have some used pavers, please consider donating them to our project to pave the strips between the sidewalks and the street.

Call Tom Aigner, 720-518-9505, from the Esperanza Estates Rock Monkeys, and they will collect them and store them behind the garage.

From Robin Lockwood

Please join the Hospitality team as we host the Green Valley Optimist Club when they bring in their grill trailer and cook their "world famous" handmade Italian sausages for EE's much anticipated SAUSAGE FEST 2025 on Wednesday, February 19th at the Ramada.

Gardeners

From Mary Harp

The Gardeners will meet at 9:30 am on Tuesday, February 4, for the Pot Party at Rod and Mary's home at 261 Napa. Bring any spare pots, cactus or plant starts, and yard art you would like to put in the Gardeners Sale on March 1.  New members are always welcome to join us. Call or text Rod Harp at 520.329.9103 with any questions.

Pickleball Skills and Drills

From Sharon Falor, Coach

Series III of Drills and Skills will begin February 4th, and meet on the 11th, and 18th (three consecutive Tuesdays). Sessions begin at 11:00 am and finish at 12:30. Players should have intermediate to advanced level skills. Focus will be on continuing paddle development drills along with these three specific topics: Attacks and Counterattacks, Drops and Drives, Serves and Returns.

Arts and Crafts Group

From Janet Shown

Next up: Pine Needle Basketry taught by Gary Terslinger, February 4th and 18th, 1:00 pm, at the Ramada. The class is full with 12 people registered. Confirmed participants who have not yet paid for their supplies or chosen their agate slice and glued it to the vinyl backing may contact Janet Shown at 720-749-0273 or jansho@yahoo.com. All supplies will be brought to the first meeting.

An upcoming project will be creating totems made from glass or ceramics, so interested people should start collecting items for their totem. Think crystal glasses, serving items, and stemware, teacups and saucers, figurines and vases, or other eye-catching items. For more information, contact Janet Shown.
