EE HOA Board Meeting
From Dave Sielken, EE HOA President
With summer coming to an end, it will soon be time for our next HOA Board meeting. We will have an in-person meeting at the Ramada at 1pm on Monday, September 19. As always, every resident is invited to attend.
Please join for some catching up and a couple of new things to discuss.
Hope to see you then.

Book Club
From Linda Sielken
Fall is returning and with that, the EE Book Club. We could potentially begin on September 8, 10:00 am, in the Ramada. However, I need to hear if you will be attending. You can call or text me at 908 240-1887. If you text, please tell me who you are! Traditionally, this is when we choose books for the year and it's good to have lots of input. If not many people will be there in September, we'll move our first meeting to October 13th.
I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Thirsty Thursday, September 15, 5 pm
Our next Thirsty Thursday Happy Hour is Thursday, September 15, at the Ramada, 5 pm.
This is a very laid-back gathering of friends and neighbors. Please BYOB, an appetizer to share if you'd like, and your own utensils. Everyone helps clean and straighten up the Ramada afterward. Hope you can drop by for a visit!

Spraying Weeds
Have you seen the blue-green spray on the gravel around the neighborhood? That's weed spray. Many thanks to Tom Cooke and Boyd Morse for spraying the weeds in our common areas, and keeping our neighborhood beautiful. Your work is greatly appreciated!

Common Areas
From Tom Cooke
REMINDER:
Esperanza Estates has about 22 acres of common area. This common area includes all of the quad yards outside of the patio walls. All of these areas are under the exclusive jurisdiction of the HOA Board of Directors and no activity is permitted in these areas without Board approval. This includes the planting of landscape items, or the placement thereon of any item or article, or any modification of the ground. Anyone desiring to take any type of action within these areas must apply to the Board for approval before proceeding. We ask that all owners and residents be mindful of the foregoing requirements of the CCR’s governing the neighborhood.

Pet Post
From Tom Cooke
In the Southwest corner of our Ramada we have a Pet Post. This is a space where you can perpetually memorialize a beloved pet. We have plaques displayed on the post for dogs, cats, horses and even pet mice. If you have a pet you would like to have remembered, we invite you to use our very charming Pet Post. Your pet will always be remembered, as will your love for it. The cost is a nominal $25 which includes your plaque and it’s installation on the Post. All proceeds go toward maintenance of the Ramada. If interested contact Tom Cooke at 520-399-0455.

Palm Tree Hit By Lightning
(not our neighborhood)
Tim Liddle sent this picture of a palm tree getting hit by lightening. Tim commented, "This is why we require residents to trim their trees." No kidding, they go up like a matchstick! Thankfully, this picture was taken Tucson, not in our neighborhood.
