I will have one more day of delivering Esperanza Estates Directories. I will be at the HOA meeting Monday, April 20, ½ hour before the meeting begins. Please have your lot number when requesting a directory.

Esperanza Estates Welcomes New Residents

New residents since the end of December through now are invited!

If you were a new resident in 2025 or new in 2026 and were not invited or unable to attend our December Reception, you are also invited and encouraged to attend.

At the Reception, Board members will be introduced and briefly talk about their office responsibilities. You will also be introduced to our numerous committee chairs and learn about all the activity opportunities available to you.

A light snack will be available.

Pickleball Court Master

If you are the last person to leave the Pickleball Courts, please make sure the gates are locked, the bathrooms are locked, and the keys are back in the lockbox.

Summer Pool Coverage

We will be switching to a new set of volunteers for daily pool checks. If you are here for the summer, we could use a few more volunteers to help spread the load of this required daily check. More volunteers give us some flexibility for vacation coverage.

Bookclub

The EE Book Club will now be on summer recess.

The next EE Book Club meeting will occur:

No specific book has yet been selected for discussion at that meeting. There are, however, a number of books suggested for our next season.

They are:

Thirsty Thursday

Thursdays at 4 p.m. at the Ramada. This is a no-host event, which means BYOB and snacks, and we all help with the cleanup. Please pitch in as much as you can before you leave.

It Certainly was a Beach Party

What a turn out for the "Life's a Beach" party this past Tuesday!

A big thank you to the Hospitality Group - great burgers and brats, sides and of course bevies!! And we especially loved the fudgesicles!

The Optimist Club graciously lent EE their grill wagon and we had great BBQ grill chefs and Hospitality servers!

Great beach attire and the lei's really topped it off.

And you will see some participants filling out their 43 Beaches that aligned to US coasts- of course no one used their phones to research.

Steve Alto was the official keeper of the lei's!

T-coil Reminder

For those of us with hearing aids, a reminder that the Ramada has T-coil. We have had it for more than 10 years and people may have forgotten as it is seldom talked about. It is active any time we use the microphones during meetings and events.
