Directors Election

From Ken Lindeman, HOA Secretary

Watch For It: Your Electronic Ballot will be in your email box this Monday. There will be one "voting" email per property, so if it's not in your emailbox, check your other emailbox.

This year, candidate "bio information" is listed under each candidate on the ballot. This will give you a chance to get to know each candidtate before you vote. Again, your access code and password show up under the link for the voting site when you open your email. I have taken the "space" and "capital" requirement out of the password to make your entry easier.

Have fun using this new way of voting for our Directors. Should anyone have questions, please email me at eesecy@gmail.com. Thank you. Your secretary, Ken Lindeman.

All are welcome, so get those sleighs decorated and join in the merriment. Or, plan to welcome the event from your driveway or yard....what's a parade without an audience?

After the Parade, come join us for Festive Thirsty Thursday at the Ramada, 4:00 pm. This is a No Host event, so please bring your own drinks, utensils, and a snack to share if you'd like. A snack isn't required, but it might put you on the "nice" list!

Orphans' Christmas Dinner

From Lynn Noble and Connie Scorza

WHEN: December 25, 2024

TIME: 1:00 pm

WHERE: Ramada

CONTACT: Connie Scorza – 541-647-8755 or Lynn Noble – 406-794-2509 If no answer please leave a voicemail, or text, and we will get back to you.

Please join us for the Orphans' Christmas Dinner! So many of us don’t have family in the area to celebrate the holidays, and no one should spend them alone. Last year was a great success with over 50 people. It was a great time!

With everyone bringing a dish, there is a smorgasbord of delights certain to put you in the Christmas spirit. Don’t spend the day alone! Come join your neighbors and friends at the Ramada.

Get in touch with Connie or Lynn. We will ask you to bring an appetizer, maindish, vegetable/salad, or dessert. Please RSVP by 12/23/2024 so we have an idea of how many tables need to be set up.

This is a BYOB (and glassware).  Plates, napkins and utensils will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there! Merry Christmas!

Esperanza Estates "Holiday Magic" Party

Huge kudos to our Hospitality team for the festive Holiday Party last week. Around 110 people attended. We chowed down on fabulous holiday potluck dishes, had an ugly sweater contest, and a drawing for Deb Ries' beautiful table centerpieces (hand made from those wine bottles she was collecting.) It was a perfect way to get everyone in the Holiday spirit!

We are so fortunate...not every HOA in Green Valley has such a wonderful Hospitality Team to stir up our social juices. And, thank you to all of the wonderful EE cooks who contributed the scrumptious holiday food! Outstanding!!

Thanks to Gloria Creagh and Hugh Rhine for the photos

Caring Connections

Bill Smith

We are saddened to learn that Bill Smith passed away in Leola, Pennsylvania, on December 13 after a long illness. Bill and his wife, Donna, were active residents in Esperanza Estates for a number of years until Bill's health encouraged them to move back to Pennsylvania about a year ago. Bill loved pickleball and played even when he was ill. Our most sincere condolences to Donna, their Daughters and family and friends. Cards can be sent to 7 Meadow View Dr, Leola, Pennsylvania, 17340.

John Nesavich's Daughter

John Nesavich's daughter, Nicole Hipner in Denver, is seriously ill and needs a liver transplant. She's been added to the transplant list, but even with the best doctors, it's a very uncertain and difficult time. John and Judy are currently in Denver helping with her family, and are hoping to return to Green Valley after Christmas. Your best wishes and prayers for her recovery are appreciated. John can be reached by text messaging, 303-880-3261.
