2026 Board Member Election
From Ken Lindeman
Please give this your consideration. A volunteer Board of Directors manages Esperanza Estates Homeowners Association. Nine volunteers are on this board. Each year, the HOA has an election for three new board members. The term for a board member is three years, and three board member terms are up for replacement every three years. My name is Ken Lindeman, and I am chairing the nominating committee for the 2026 election. I would like to encourage residents to volunteer by entering your name in the upcoming election.
Please contact me at 970-577-3395 or email me at eesecy@gmail.com if you would like to have your name on the ballot.

Veterans Party
From Robin Lockwood
FROM THE HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE:
It was an honor to acknowledge the Veterans of Esperanza Estates on Veterans' Day with a dessert and coffee hour. Attendance was wonderful, and we were able to celebrate with 18 of our own EE Veterans, plus a remembrance of 2 who have passed away. The Hospitality Committee wants to thank Mary Levi for sharing her husband, John's, military story with the neighborhood's members. What a special day it was! Thank you to all who attended to help pay tribute to the brave men and women of our country who have served in the Armed Forces.

The books for December.
We have changed the December Book to The Kitchen Front by Jennifer Ryan.
In addition, the January selection is Life After Power by Jared Cohen.
The Book Club meets on the second Tuesday of every month. Our next meeting is Thursday, November 20, 11 am, at the Ramada. Everyone is welcome!

Thirsty Thursday
We will have Thirsty Thursday this week, November 20 th, at 4 pm, at the Ramada. We'll keep the same no-host plan, which means BYOB and snacks, and we all help with the cleanup.
Just a note about cleanup....since we don't have a host, we all need to pitch in and put the Ramada back in order when we leave. That means moving the chairs and tables back, picking up the pillows, cleaning the kitchen area, throwing away our trash, etc. Please pitch in as much as you can before you leave.
Hope to see you there!

Please mark your calendars for December 11th at 4:30 PM. The Hospitality team is hosting “Toyland”, our holiday celebration for Esperanza Estates. We are partnering with the Green Valley Fire Department in collecting new, unwrapped toys that evening. The evening will be a potluck dinner, with beverages and desserts provided. Almost Time to Decorate Your Lamp Posts For the Holidays...
You can have help from your EE Elves!!
From Gloria Creagh
A long-standing tradition in our Esperanza Estates HOA is having our street lamp posts festively decorated from Thanksgiving to New Year's.
For new owners, you will need the electrical plug-in, which goes in the light bulb socket of the lamp post. This allows you to plug in your string of lights that turn on at dusk. You can then creatively decorate your light post.
If you are unable to take on this decorating task, we have volunteer Enhancement Elves to assist you. They will decorate your post for just $15.00 if you supply the decorations. If we supply the decorations, we suggest a $25.00 donation. Everything belongs to you when we take the decorations down.
ELVES: John and Gloria Creagh
WHEN: We begin right after Thanksgiving. The deadline for requesting this service is December 1st.
To request the Enhancement Elves’ help or if you have any questions, please call Gloria Creagh at (920) 323-1646.
