Pickleball Lessons to Support
Purchase of Swimming Pool Lift Chair
From Sharon Falor, 928-853-3474
Our fundraising efforts have begun! Teri Neuman and I were busy on the pickleball courts this past Monday raising almost $500. Additionally, we have collected $305 in gifts from our very generous and thoughtful residents, for a total of $805. If you are interested in helping us reach our goal of $5,000 by April 30th, please do not hesitate to text or call and I will stop by your home.
There are four more dates for lessons: March 14th, March 18th, March 25th, and April 1st. These lessons are open to everyone from beginners through advanced. Please contact me to sign up for lessons.
Remember this chair will allow our residents who are recovering from a joint replacement, or who have a disability from a chronic condition or disease, or who are unable to navigate the stairs, access to our beautiful swimming pool. Enabling someone to relax and move weightlessly in the pool, can relieve so much joint and back related pain. Together we can make it possible for all our residents to access the pool.

Silent Auction and Dessert Buffet is a Hit for the EE Neighborhood
From Jody Hauge
The Silent Auction and Dessert Buffet was a huge success for our neighborhood. The event was well attended, and neighbors were very generous with their donations to the silent auction and preparation of desserts.
The fundraiser raised a total of $3342.00 minus minor expenses. The silent auction raised $2703.00, and the dessert buffet raised $639.00.
Congratulations to all of you who made this happen. We live in a wonderful community full of fun-loving and giving people.
Thank you to all who donated items and desserts. A big thank you to those participating in the day by bidding, eating desserts, and enjoying the fellowship.
A special shout out to the members of the Enhancement Committee for all the planning and work that went into a successful event.

Craft Group
From Bernie Olson
The Craft Group will meet this Thursday, March 14, from 1 to 3 pm at the Ramada. This week we will be making feathers and doing a coat of polyurethane on the lizard. We also need to discuss what’s next for future projects. We have many fun projects that have been suggested, but we need to determine if we have enough interest among those who can stay for 2 hours, as it’s taking longer for projects to get finished. Hope you can join in and keep the Craft Group going.

Thirsty Thursday is This Week!!
We're having Thirsty Thursday, Esperanza Estates' Happy Hour, this week on Thursday, March 14th, at 4 pm at the Ramada. As usual, this is a no-host event, so everyone brings their own beverages. Food is always welcome of course, but it's not necessary to bring food....unless you are hungry. Most importantly, bring yourselves on over to the Ramada for a fun and friendly visit. Hope to see you there!

Karen and Peggy have put up a free Sharing Library in front of their home on Excelso. It contains books, cds, and dvds to share. The Library has received a number of donations...take an item, share an item, enjoy! They've decorated the box with their beautiful mosaic artwork, including images from our neighborhood, and want to thank Lesli Nesmith for helping with the design. It's so cool it even made the Green Valley News...check it out!
