Thirsty Thursday Happy Hour

Happy Hour is back... with a twist! We are starting a new neighborhood happy hour....Thirsty Thursday....this Thursday, February 17, at the Ramada, at 4:00 pm.

Thirsty Thursday will be every other week (next one March 3), and we'll use the no-host approach we used for the former Friday Happy Hours....bring your own beverages, appetizers optional, bring your own utensils. Just come visit, say hello to friends, and enjoy some Arizona afternoon sunshine!!

Because many events happen on Fridays, we're hoping Happy Hour on Thursday (instead of Friday) will be more convenient for folks. Masks will be optional with social distancing per CDC guidelines recommended.

Pickleball Time Change

From Greg Gramstad

We are expanding play time for Pickleball. The new schedule will be 9 am-1 pm daily to accommodate newer players that need their own time to play.

Please call Greg with any questions or look me up at the courts.

Chair Yoga & Nutrition Class

From Kathy Lindeman

This Friday, February 18, we will be doing our last Chair Yoga class at 1:30 pm at the Ramada. Following our class, at 2:30 Phyllis will hold our Nutrition class. Therefore, there will be no Nutrition class as previously planned on the 25th. Please direct any questions to Kathy Lindeman, 970-577-3395.

From Mary Harp

There will not be a Gardeners meeting this week, on Tuesday, 2/15. Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, 2/22. See next week.

Ramada: Important Reminders

From Gary Rautio

To all users of the Ramada, whether it be for informal gatherings or for more formal meetings, please remember to leave the area as clean and organized as possible

That means using the trash and re-cycle containers to clean up the area. Also, please return all cushions to their storage containers, clean off all counters, tables and chairs plus return all chairs and tables to the positions that you found them in.

Please help us all keep the Ramada in a clean and organized fashion.

Next Board Meeeting

From Dave Sielken

The next EEHOA board meeting, Tuesday, Feb 22, will be held at the Ramada. Masks will not be required as it is an outdoors venue. But individual decisions regarding masking and social distancing will be respected.

Thank Your for Your Food Donations

From Sandy LaVoi

Thank You to everyone for your food donations. We had a large box to take to the Food Bank this week! As always, your continued support is greatly appreciated.

Sausage Fest

From Kevin Welsh

The Sausage Fest is Back!  Mark your calendar for Tuesday, February 22nd.  The Optimists will be grilling their Famous Italian Sausage at the Ramada starting at 4 pm and serving until 100 have been sold. Cost is $7 for a sausage in a poppy seed bun topped with grilled onions & peppers or sauerkraut and packed in a to-go container with a bag of chips. Bring your own beverage if you want to eat in the Ramada or take it home. All profits go to benefit 'Local Kids' here in Green Valley and Sahuarita.

Several Esperanza Estates residents are active participants at CPAC. The programs are highly recommended, but are too numerous to list all details here in the MMM. Please go to the CPAC web site for more information and to purchase tickets.
