2026 Board Member Election.....

One More Chance

From Ken Lindeman

One more chance to volunteer for the HOA Board Director election.  I reviewed the dates, and since we are now running an electronic election, I can still ask for volunteers who may be undecided to put their name on the ballot.  As you know, our Home Owners Association is managed by a board of volunteers.  Our neighborhood is maintained by volunteers.  We are a community of volunteers.  We have four volunteers for three positions, so we are going to have an election.

Contact me (text or call), Ken Lindeman, at 970-232-4129 or email me at eesecy@gmail.com if you want to take a leap and use your talents to help manage our neighborhood.  Thank you

CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS AT OUR “TOYLAND” EVENT!

Source: Robin Lockwood and Debbie Ries

The Hospitality Committee would like to invite you to join us for our Holiday Celebration, TOYLAND, on December 11th at 4:30 pm at the Ramada. This year, we are partnering with the Santa Rita Fire Department in collecting NEW, UNWRAPPED toys for children, ages newborn to teen. The Fire Department will be present at our event and will collect the toys donated by the EE community. They will then distribute them locally.

TOYLAND will be a potluck dinner, so we are asking you to bring a favorite holiday appetizer, salad, or main dish to share. The Hospitality committee will provide dessert and beverages (water, soda, beer, and wine), along with all the necessary plates, napkins, eating utensils, and cups.

We will also have our annual UGLY SWEATER CONTEST, with prizes for outrageous holiday sweaters!

EVENT: TOYLAND potluck, TOY collection, and UGLY SWEATER contest.

DATE: Thursday, December 11th.  The bar opens at 4:30 pm, and dinner will begin at 5:00

PLEASE BRING: a favorite holiday appetizer, salad, or main dish.   (DESSERT IS PROVIDED)

ALSO PLEASE BRING:  New, unwrapped toys to be donated locally through the GVFD

WE ALSO ASK FOR DONATIONS of non-perishable foods for the local food shelf, if you are able.

PROVIDED: beverages, dessert, plates, cups, napkins, eating and serving utensils.

The Hospitality Team is excited for this “giving” event for our community.

There is no cost for this event. We will have the heaters going if needed.

Thirsty Thursday

We will not have Thirsty Thursday this week due to a conflict with the Toyland potluck dinner.

Collecting Donations for our Points West Landscaping Crew

From Cyndie Alto, Common Area Maintenance Board Member

It has been customary in our neighborhood to collect donations/tips during the holiday time to show our appreciation to the Points West workers. They work hard year-round in our common areas.  The tip jar will make its rounds at any Ramada events during December till December 16th. Please consider donating to the tip jar!  The tip jar is being "housed" at Cyndie Alto's residence. (184 S Camino Holgado) Feel free to text me if you would like to bring a donation in person.
