The HOA weed spray equipment is temporarily out of commission due to a defective pump motor. Parts have been ordered, and the spray program will start up again as soon as possible. Please bear with us during this hopefully short delay.

EE Craft Sale Needs an Organizer

From Bernie Olson

The Annual Arts and Craft Sale that EE usually holds the first Saturday in December needs an organizer.  Bernie Olson and Deb Ries, who have co-chaired the sale in recent years, are unable to lead the event this year. If you are interested in helping to manage this popular EE event, please contact Bernie Olson, 920-254-9277,  bernieolson57@gmail.com.

Caring Connections

Iona Davis

We've been informed by her daughter, Jane Boeck, that former EE resident, Iona K. Davis passed away December 13, 2022. She was interred in her birth city of El Paso, Illinois. Iona and her husband, Roy, were one of the first residents of EE.  Our condolences to Iona's friends and family.

Food Donations

From Sandy LaVoi

Thank you for your continued support for the Ramada food shelf. We deliver your contributions of non-perishable, non-opened food to the Food Bank nearly every week.

Art Exhibit by EE Resident Heidrun Kessler

I am currently exhibiting 24 colored pencil botanical and bird drawings from my 115 "Life in Flowers" series and more of the remaining "Bird Series". The exhibit is in the GVR East Center Lobby and Hallway and runs through September 30.  A photo of my drawing of a Ruby-throated Hummingbird is attached.

From Judy Hayes

Source: https://www.sahuaritafoodbank.org/meals2go

Did you know you can purchase fully cooked nutritious meals on Fridays from the Sahuarita Food Bank Meals2Go program? They typically offer two entree choices which are reasonably priced, and 100% of all proceeds go directly back into the food bank.

Just go to the Sahuartia Food Bank Meals2Go website to see the entrees for the week and place your order before Friday. Pickup for these meals are Fridays, between 12 and 4pm at the Sahuarita Food Bank, 17750 South La Cañada Drive, Sahuarita,.

EE friends that have been to Meals2Go have been very satisfied...they said the food has been delicious with generous servings. It's a great way to support the Food Bank!!
