Pool Volunteers

Thanks to those who volunteered to help with monitoring the pool over the summer. I will be heading north on April 19. Below are the volunteers. They will do a great job keeping everything running smoothly. Shelly Mosser is leading the effort. If any issues or concerns need immediate attention, please reach out to Shelly. I am also available by phone.

Pavers Project

From Tom Aigner

We are still accepting paver donations for park frontages and our many common areas.

We are finding that many homeowners are happy and willing to add the small cost of new pavers to their properties, as this improves the beauty and safety of our neighborhood.

Thanks, Peggy Layton and Chuck Kausler, for getting Excelso one step closer to being completed with the paver project!

Call if you have questions, Tom Aigner at (720) 518-9505.

Message from our Pickleball Court Master.

From Greg Gramstad

Please know that only nonmarking tennis shoes can be worn on the pickleball courts. On April 13th, someone violated this rule and scuffed up two courts.

Please know that only clear water is allowed on the pickleball courts.

Also, a key was taken from the key ring at the Pickelball Courts. I would ask whoever took the key to please return the key to where you took it from.

Please call Greg Gramstad with any questions. 520-303-3505

Neighborhood News

Gardeners

From Pat Zehrer

The Garden Club will be on hiatus starting this week.

A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped to enhance and maintain the Esperanza gardens!!

Spring Cleaning Solution

For those packing to leave or doing spring cleaning, you can get rid of those unwanted items at the Shed next to the pickleball courts. Doors will be open on Wednesday, April 23rd and April 30th, from 10:00 until noon.

The Enhancement Committee is starting to collect household items for our next Ramada Sale.

(No electronics, clothing, or large furniture)

Thanks Gloria Creagh

Thirsty Thursday

Come on over for a visit! This is our week for Thirsty Thursday, at 4 pm, Thursday, April 24th, at the Ramada. Bring your beverage and whatever else you would like, and join friends and neighbors in a nice, relaxing respite.

John and Gloria Creagh

A Big Thank you to John and Gloria Creagh. They agreed to add pavers along the side of their house to meet up with the pavers from the Mesquite Park project. Giving us one large stretch of pavers down Holgado. Plus, the section in front of their home. A huge addition to our plan!

Thanks again, Neighbors! Tom Aigner

Esperanza Estates Enhancement Team

The Enhancement Team has had a very active and successful season. I would personally like to thank our members on our team members for their hard work and their positive attitudes.

We will be taking a seasonal break but will be back in November.

We have been in communication with John Nesavich and Cyndi Alto for support of the Bocce Ball project.

If you have things to drop off for the next Ramada sale, you can contact

Vivian Vascellaro 919-274-5364 or Lynn Noble at 406-794-2509.

Canceled: EE Arts and Crafts group meeting April 28th

From Janet Shown

The April 28th class is canceled. Most of the folks who were participating are either gone for the season or unavailable.

With snowbirds drifting out of Green Valley and temperatures rising into triple digits, the EE Arts and Crafts group activities have been terminated for the season. A big THANKS is due to all the participants and instructors who made this season's classes so fun.

If you have ideas for projects next fall and winter, or if you would like to co-facilitate meetings, please contact Janet Shown at jansho@yahoo.com or 720-749-0273. See you all next October!

Debbie

Hi, I'm the Mailbox Guy.

Source: Debbie Reis

I can help you with all issues involving the Mailbox, Repairs, Painting, and any other issues. If you need a new bulb, I will bring you one.

I can be reached at (657-500-9193). My phone is on from 8 am to 8 pm I work mostly by myself. So, be sure to leave a message, and I will call you back. Two things I would like to mention: If you are a snowbird, please do not shut off the power to the garage (2 Breakers: 1 for the garage door and 1 for plugs). I need access if something goes wrong. All mailboxes, poles, and Lanterns are painted Satin Black. The bulb is an LED 450 warm light. Everything on the pole is home homeowner's responsibility and should be brought up to par before leaving or when needed, if not a snowbird.

Thank you, and I hope I can count on you to help make all the poles look good, match, and have power.
