Board of Directors Election
Source: Ken Lindeman
Esperanza Estates Home Owners Association is managed by a volunteer board of directors. Nine volunteers are on this board. Each year the HOA has an election for three new board members. The term for a board member is three years and three board member terms are up for replacement every three years. My name is Ken Lindeman and I am chairing the nominating committee for the 2024 election. I would like to encourage residents to volunteer for this board by entering their name for this upcoming election. Please contact me at 970-577-3395 or email me at eesecy@gmail.com if you would like to have your name on the ballot.

Thirsty Thursday....New Start Time 4 pm
We're having Thirsty Thursday, Esperanza Estates' Happy Hour, this week on Thursday, November 09, at the Ramada. With our bit cooler temps, we are moving the start time to 4 pm. This is a no-host event, so everyone brings their own beverages and maybe a snack to share. Most importantly, bring yourselves on over to the Ramada for a fun and friendly visit. Hope to see you there!

PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST and HALLOWEEN POTLUCK DINNER WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!
The costumes didn’t disappoint, and the carving contest was equally creative. As always, there was plenty of food…if you missed this year’s party be sure to come next year as it is a great way to welcome back the snow birds, have a great meal and reconnect with people we haven’t necessarily seen since last spring.
If you want to join this fun Hospitality Committee reach out to Robin Lockwood at 612-618-5582, robinodino@gmail.com as there is always room for another energetic team member.

Spa Status Update
The SPA is officially open as of 6:00 AM this Friday morning. Marcos from Desert SunSet completed applying cool decking material late yesterday & now after curing the last 12 hours the SPA is again ready for use.
The SPA water leak was difficult to find & difficult to correct because the leak was back under the cool decking. Thanks to all the SPA users for their patience!
Thanks, Gary Rautio
