Vote on Esperanza Estates Street Parking

From Ken Lindeman

Why The Vote – In 2023 the Arizona Legislature amended a portion of the Planned Community Act Statutes that impacts Esperanza Estates CC&R’s where parking on public streets is concerned.  All CC&Rs recorded before January 1, 2015, (Esperanza Estates were adopted in 2006) that currently regulate parking on public streets in the community, may no longer do so unless the Association has a membership vote.   A simple majority of voters (greater than 50%) is needed to retain the current Esperanza Estates CCRs as written and regulated by the HOA Board.

If Esperanza Estates membership hasn’t voted or decided not to vote by June 30, 2025, should concerns regarding street parking occur, residents will need to contact the Pima County sheriff or Sahuarita/Green Valley police department.  Our community will follow street parking ordinances enforced by people not living in our community and unfamiliar with the needs of our community.  Street parking regulations will be generic and not specifically designed for a community that takes pride in its appearance.

March 10, 2025 - The Esperanza Estates HOA Board has decided that it is in the best interest of our community to take a vote and find out what kind of community our membership wants.  On Monday, March 10, emails will be sent to all property owners that will start the Electronic Voting process.  People who have asked not to have electronic voting will receive paper ballots that same week.

Ramada Patio Sale

From Claudia Rose, Enhancement Committee

The Ramada Patio Sale is this weekend!

A presale will be open to only EE residents Friday, February 28 from 4:00-5:00 pm. The sale opens to the public Saturday, March 1 from 8:00 am-2:00 pm.

HELP NEEDED

The Enhancement Committee is busy putting the finishing touches on the Ramada Patio Sale. We will need volunteers to help transport all our treasures from the shed at 1195 del Sur (by the pickleball courts) to the Ramada. If you have a truck or SUV and are willing to help, meet at the shed starting at 9:00 am Friday, February 28. Members will be available to help organize the transport.

There will not be a Thirsty Thursday Happy Hour on February 27th due to the Ramada Sale setup. We will also need some volunteers on Thursday morning, February 27th to remove chairs and set up tables.
