Dear Beloved Community,

Welcome back! My hope and prayer is that the past week was one that brought you joy, rest, peace, relaxation, and FUN!

I am excited to be back on campus with our Three Points community. It is hard to believe that as we return this week we only have a bit over eight weeks left in our 2020-2021 school year. While the year has been challenging, as each month has passed, school life has gotten easier, more pleasant, less worrisome, and even more joyful; God has and continues to show up for us all at BCS!

Great things will be happening on campus this month: I am thrilled that our student body has the opportunity to show off their God-given talents by submitting their recordings to be in our Three Points Talent Show.

We also will begin seeing our parent community on campus during the school day as volunteers are now able to join us each school day. Our teachers, students and staff cannot wait to see some of you in person serving and volunteering! Please connect with your child’s teacher if you are interested in volunteering.

Additionally, next week when we have early release, our teachers will gather to have a Celebration of Learning. During this time together, teachers will share how they invited their students into their Deep Hope through Formational Learning Experiences (FLEx) this year, COVID Style. Our teachers and students have found incredible ways to meet real needs in real ways for real people; so good!

EnJOY the sunshine this week, Three Points, and,May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” ~Romans 15:13

Happy Spring, Three Points!

Reminders
If your child tests positive for COVID-19, please call our office right away at (425) 454-3977. If our office is closed, email [email protected] as soon as possible. Delayed notification complicates contract tracing, an essential step in stopping the spread of the virus. Providing us with information about: 1) when symptoms developed, 2) the test date and 3) the results - help us meet our notification requirements to King County Public Health. Thank you for your help in keeping our community safe.

Also, please remember to complete the daily health screening for your child via the Magnus Health app. When a green "GO" pops up, take a screenshot of it and show it to school personnel as you're going through the car chute. Thank you!
Art Club
Recess Corner
Thank you, PTF, for providing the funds needed to replace some well-loved recess equipment. Badminton birdies and jump ropes have been ordered and are on their way!

Washington State recently moved into Phase 3. Because of that, Three Points is now allowing a select few competitive sports to be played at recess. We have made additions that mirror the sports being played by our BCS high school students.  All our students at Three Points are required to wear masks while playing these sports competitively at recess and continue to sanitize their hands before and after recess. The students are so grateful to have soccer added to the activities allowed at recess. It has been a joy to watch them play games and show off their skills! They are anxiously awaiting some competitive basketball games that hopefully will start mid-May when the high school season is projected to start. Thank you for supporting us in these conversations at home as we patiently wait and work to safely add new activities.

We continue to reinforce sound decision-making by recognizing students who are found making choices that bear good fruit. This spring, HiChew treats are being placed on “You Have Been Spotted” cards.

Watch for those to come home with your student in the next few months!

Preschool News
He is Risen!

As we prepared for Easter, preschool students focused on Jesus as our Savior! We assembled unique resurrection egg sets, made cards, read books, and created beautiful artwork. Mrs. Lowe built an almost life-sized tomb façade to help prekindergartners imagine what it might’ve been like to discover the empty tomb. What a memorable activity!

For the 2021-22 school year we are looking to add to our Preschool staff. If you or someone you know might be interested, please click on the link below. Thank you.
Chapel
Our Director of Discipleship, Rev. Daniel Rogers, enhances the Christian discipleship and mentorship taking place at Three Points.

Rev. Rogers hosts weekly Chapel services, prays with students, advises administrators, teachers and staff, and works with students to help them discover their gifts and give them away for the Glory of God and others.
