Being Flexible . . .

The week before school started, we had a faculty meeting. We were given flexible sticks and were asked to create something. The reason for the flexible sticks was to remember that this year, we are called upon to be “flexible." I walked around the room after the activity, marveling at the masterpieces that my colleagues had created. Mine looks like one that a young child might have created. I giggled and made excuses for mine, as I was embarrassed. Later that day, I went into my classroom and looked at my bulletin board, which displays my Deep Hope. It reads, “My deep home is that we come together as problem solvers, each with our unique talents, discovering our piece in God’s story”. I giggled again. I may not be a gifted artist, but I am gifted and talented in other ways. I will strive to make sure that each of my students knows how special they are, just the way God made them. We are all different, but each a unique piece of God’s story.

Hot Lunch Update

Wednesday, September 30th will be the last day lunches can be ordered through our lunch program.

We aren't meeting the minimum number of lunch orders to keep the service at this time.

We will let you know if we resume lunch orders.

Thank you for your understanding.

  • Three Points continues to be very cautious and hold firm to the COVID-19 guidelines set forth by the King County Health Department. Please click here for the Flow Chart guidelines.

  • The warm sunny days have been wonderful and such a blessing. However, cold, rainy days are also part of our fall weather here in the Northwest. Please remind your students to be prepared with appropriate clothing and pack an extra mask in case it gets wet during recess.

Dear Parents,

We hope your week is off to a great start. There are two things we wanted to bring you up to speed on. The first, is the fantastic gathering we were able to have last week with our Counselor Devon Woodard. Ms. Woodard talked about anxiety and what parents can do help their child(ren) cope with anxiety. If you missed the WebEx meeting and would like to learn more, contact Devon Woodard.

Second, during a normal year with no COVID restrictions, parents would bless the faculty and staff with a specially brewed, espresso beverage every Wednesday morning. As a former Three Points staff member, I can attest to the pick-me-up that this mid-week treat brings. Even though we cannot have parent volunteers on campus right now to have these coffees brewed, there are still some ways we can bless our staff.

Might you consider providing a Wednesday pre-packaged beverage and/or snack to be places in the teachers lounge? In order to bless all, we would need 40 items each Wednesday. Some examples might be a variety of La Croix, Snapple, or sodas, individually wrapped cookies, donuts/muffins, popcorn, trail mix, or chocolates, etc. Feel free to be creative; anything will be a blessing!

Click here to sign up now. If you have any problem using the link, email me directly at, and I will sign you up.

Thank you for all of your support for our wonderful staff at Three Points.

Preschool News
September in Preschool was filled with laughter and learning. God’s Little Explorers’ and Woodland Discoverers’ classes focused on Jesus’ love for each of them. This theme was demonstrated through an abundance of activities: Paintings, songs, stories, creations, pretend play, science experiments, and so much more.

Our teachers have much more planned for October and are so excited to share what we learn. The pumpkins growing in and out of our garden will certainly play a big part in the fun and sharing. We enjoy finding these garden treasures and watching them grow.

Can you find the ‘baby pumpkin’ in the picture?
