Greetings from Mrs. Hatate

Hello! I am Kristen Hatate, I teach kindergarten. This is my 20th year of teaching, including 13 years of teaching Kindergarten at Bellevue Christian. I have been commuting here for 20 years while taking my three children to Three Points and then to the Clyde Hill Campus for K-12 grades. My youngest son just graduated from high school this spring and started college this week. My oldest married her BCS high school sweetheart and made me a grandmother in December! My middle son is newly engaged to his BCS high school friend and now fiancé. Our decision to send our children to BCS has obviously had a profound effect on the lives of my family. We are forever grateful that we listened to friends whose children were attending Three Points and encouraged us to look into it.

During these unprecedented times, I am thankful for the strong leadership of our district and the decisions they have had to make for us to start school in person (K-6). I am grateful for our BCS community for embracing the many changes and new procedures that have been put in place. Together, we can make this a great year with His guidance and love. Blessings to you all!

NEW this year! We have a new online process in place. Details on viewing proofs and ordering will be added to the Three Points Parent Portal on or before Friday 9/11.
The phone number and email address of the first contact listed in your child's RenWeb account will be utilized to generate your child's photo order. Vakker Photography guarantees your privacy, they will not share your information with anyone else or for any other purpose. If you wish to opt out of online ordering, contact your campus office.
Preschool News
We are excited to now have a Preschool Liaison that will be a member on our Three Points PTF E-Board. Please join us in welcoming, Preschool mom, Carissa Haws (pictured above with her family.)
 
Carissa Haws is excited to serve as the PTF Preschool Liaison. She is an APU alum and has a career background in real estate and office management. Carissa and her husband, Galen, share two spirited kids, Ensley (4.5) and Knox (2.5). Ensley will be attending her second year of preschool at BCS. Carissa feels passionately about fostering an environment for healthy community to grow, where parents and kids know they are heard, loved and supported. Although this year may be unconventional in many ways, one thing is always true, when we intentionally do life together we will discover more of who Christ is and all He has in store for us. Her email address is [email protected]. Hot Lunch Information

Hot lunches are available for ordering on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. No hot lunch on Monday or Friday. Please click here for more information on Lunch Ladies Catering and ordering.
CAMPUS REMINDERS
  • Today is the last day for 1st grade parents to be on campus in the morning and walk their student to class. Going forward, all 1st graders will need to be be dropped off in the Car Chute.

  • Kindergarten families that continue to walk their students to class, please use the Busser/Walker Fever Check Station that is by the big Cedar tree near the Main Office.

  • We are seeing so many fun, colorful, and carefully worn masks on campus! Great job, to your students for wearing their masks as required. Please remember that gaiters (see picture to the left) and bandanas are not permitted. Children must have masks that fit securely over the nose and under the chin.
