Three Points Post
10/5/2020 ~ Parent Newsletter
Dear Beloved Community,

What a blessing it is for me to be able to send this week’s opening letter in The Post! This week we start our second month of on-campus, in-person learning at BCS-Three Points Elementary. We continue to be able to do this because of the special attention and care that is given each day by the faculty, staff, students and parents as specific safety protocols are used and followed. Great Teamwork, Three Points!

As we all are going the extra mile to be diligent with safety protocols, many are also intentionally seeking to bear fruit that glories the LORD. If you missed Rev’s message last week which focuses on bearing healthy fruit, you can watch it here.) There have been many in our beloved community who have stepped out in kindness and love to support our community of employees and our student body. From reaching out to help support Operations by purchasing HEPA filters, to secretly coming on the weekend to create beautiful flower pots, to sending in fun sanitizing and safety packs, to donating boxes and boxes of adult and child-sized masks, to purchasing 10 new outdoor tables for learning and gathering spaces, our families exude the character trait of generosity as they bear the fruits of kindness and loveCountless numbers in our community also go before the LORD on our behalf each day, praying for his hand of protection upon us. It is an honor to be a part of this very special community. Thank you, to you all; you are loved, valued, and appreciated!

The fruit of love blossoms beautifully into generosity—always
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38

Preschool News
Our Pre-K teacher, Mrs. Lowe, planned several special learning activities for the shortened school week. She included class friends in her plans. She celebrated each child’s unique qualities and showed that individuals can unify to make a class team. Each child used creativity to decorate their own puzzle piece. Then, each puzzle piece was fitted together into a class puzzle. The activity encouraged unique qualities while illustrating the joyful joining together as one team for the Lord’s pleasure and work. Please see the picture for our pre-k puzzle. What a fantastic illustration for us all!
