 In the next few months, DUSD will be hosting several committees on important issues and would value your input to make some important decisions that will have an impact on all students.
We are hosting Elementary and Secondary Homework and Grading Committees and a committee to review our current Student Information System.

NEWS FROM CHILD NUTRITION:
MEAL PRICES TO INCREASE
NOVEMBER 1, 2017

In order to keep up with advances in our nutritional standards and the quality of food options, m eal prices will be increasing, effective November 1, 2017. Current prices have been in effect since July 1, 2014.

Families can apply for the meal assistance program at any time during the school year. Applications can be picked up at the Child Nutrition Services office or downloaded from our website. Please read the letter from the Child Nutrition Services Department - including specific information on price increases - at the link below.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS
EVENTS KICK OFF 
WEDNESDAY

Special Olympics Northern California, in partnership with schools from the Tri-Valley SELPA, are proud to announce the Sixth Annual school-based Special Olympics Soccer Competition.

The Elementary competition kicks off at Amador Valley High School on Thursday, Oct. 26 at 9 a.m.  All spectators are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The event will feature student athletes in Special Education attending elementary schools within Pleasanton, Livermore and Dublin.
The event featuring middle school and high school athletes takes place November 7, 2017.
